It records the facts: when a dose was scheduled, when you actually took it, where, and how you felt afterwards. It is a record-keeping tool, not a medical advisor — it never tells you that injecting is safe, never shows a blood concentration, and never calculates a dose. Always consult your healthcare provider before making treatment decisions.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
There is no account to create, no server to trust, and no analytics. The app contains no networking code at all. Your records stay in an app-private store protected by iOS Complete File Protection and excluded from device backups. App Lock uses the authentication available on your device—Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode.

ON-DEVICE AI, WITH AN OFF SWITCH THAT IS ALWAYS YOURS
Two optional features use Apple Foundation Models' on-device system model. AI entry processes only the sentence you submit in a temporary on-device session and returns closed draft fields; nothing is stored until you review and explicitly confirm it. For Visit Prep, the model receives closed fact identifiers—not clinical values—and selects only their order and one reviewed expression. DoseWeek renders every visible sentence from localized templates and app-computed values. Nothing is sent to a server. The features appear only when the device, model, and current language are supported; the complete manual flow always remains available.

BACKUP YOU CONTROL
Backups are encrypted on device with AES-256-GCM. The recovery code is stored in this device's Keychain; you can view or briefly copy it for separate safekeeping. You export the encrypted file yourself. That export is manual and happens only when you choose to run it — it is not automatic cloud backup or sync. It goes through the system file picker: in the Files app you can keep the file on this device or save it to any other location you have added to Files; that location's own terms and your device settings then apply, and the developer receives neither the file nor the code. Without the code, nobody—including the developer—can decrypt the backup.
