Walk, run, or ride, and the fog burns away wherever you pass. Forever. FOG turns your real life into the exploration screen of a strategy game: the more of the world you see with your own eyes, the more of the map you own.

• Fog of war for the real world: a living, rolling fog hides the map and clears permanently wherever you go
• Background exploring: turn it on and FOG keeps clearing fog while the app is closed; come back to "while you were away" progress
• Your character, Wander: a stick-figure explorer who earns new gear as you rank up, from Fogbound hatchling to Atlas
• Choose a path: Scholar, Ranger, Warrior, Mage, or Navigator
• Explorer ranks and stats: area unfogged, distance traveled, your exact share of Earth's surface

The first fix after the intro now says so: walk to the corner and back, and the fog clears where you go.
YOUR HISTORY, TODAY
The rank-up card and the walk card each mention FOG Unlimited once, and only once. Tap it and the paywall leads with the thing that matters: import Google Timeline or GPX and everywhere you have ever been is on the map today.
LESS BATTERY
On screen, tracking runs at GPS accuracy instead of navigation grade. Off screen, it stops entirely. Background exploring batches its fixes and wakes a few times an hour instead of every fifteen seconds.
