About Latent – RAW Film Camera
A latent image is what a frame of film holds after exposure, before development — a picture that already exists, but can't yet be seen. The photograph is born the moment you press the shutter; it just hasn't appeared.
Latent keeps that latent image for every shot you take: the full RAW negative. Any photo can return to that moment — load a different film stock, rebalance the exposure, and develop it again.

- 48MP ProRAW (DNG), falls back to HEIC on unsupported devices
- Manual EV, shutter, ISO, focus and white balance — just slide to adjust

- Pro editing: hold a control for a second level — highlights, shadows, whites, blacks, curves, 8-band HSL, three-way color wheels, keep-one-color B&W, grain size and roughness, and a vignette that can brighten.
- Lens effects: new Halation; Flare, Black Mist and Halation can be used together.
- 10-bit output: photos save as 10-bit HEIF by default for smoother skies and gradients; turn off in Settings > Latent.
- Mirror front camera: toggle in Settings > Latent.
- LUTs: .3dl and .csp files, plus log LUTs such as Apple Log 2, S-Log3 and F-Log.
- Faster RAW: nearly half the time from shutter to film box, and the viewfinder no longer freezes on capture.

- Roll library redesign: opening it shows a preview of each roll applied to the current frame. Tap a roll to adjust it directly; hold to reorder or move it into a folder.
