Don't leave your phone behind

Leashy can alert you on your Apple Watch when its Bluetooth connection to your iPhone is lost. A reminder on your wrist to check that your phone is with you.

Requires an iPhone running iOS 18 or later and a paired Apple Watch Series 6 or later running watchOS 11 or later. Apple Watch SE and Ultra compatibility has not yet been validated. Physical testing to date has used Apple Watch Series 10 GPS only.

SIMPLE TO SET UP
Install and open Leashy on your iPhone and paired Apple Watch. Allow Bluetooth on both devices, allow notifications on your Watch, and turn on Monitoring on your iPhone. Wait for Connected before you head out.

ALERTS ON YOUR WATCH
Choose a short alert delay to allow for brief disconnections. Leashy cancels a pending alert if the connection is confirmed again before delivery. Automatic left-behind alerts appear on your Watch. The iPhone app helps with setup, settings and connection status.

CHECK YOUR WATCH CONNECTION
Allow optional iPhone reminders to be prompted when Leashy cannot confirm a previously established Watch connection, including after an app update. A pending reminder is cancelled when the connection is confirmed again. These reminders ask you to check Leashy; they do not indicate distance.

PAUSE WHEN YOU MEAN TO LEAVE IT
Leaving your phone at your desk? Pause connection alerts from your Watch for 15, 30 or 60 minutes, or resume sooner. Monitoring continues during the pause.

QUICK ACCESS ON YOUR WATCH
Open Leashy from a Watch face or Smart Stack shortcut. From a separation alert, pause alerts for 15 minutes or open the saved location when available.

OPTIONAL LAST KNOWN LOCATION
Save your iPhone's last known location and share it with your paired Watch. See the saved location on a map, check its time and accuracy, or open it in Maps. Optional Always location access allows updates after significant movement in the background. Location is not required for connection alerts.

BEFORE YOU USE LEASHY
iOS and watchOS control background activity. Detection and alerts may be delayed or missed; immediate or continuous monitoring is not guaranteed. The alert delay starts when the system reports a lost connection, not when you start walking away. Focus and Watch notification settings can affect delivery and sound. Force-quitting can stop monitoring; open Leashy on both devices again if the connection needs checking.

The map shows a saved iPhone location, which may be outdated. Leashy does not locate your phone live after separation.
