Before the battle, you now choose a faction: Alliance or Raiders.
Alliance — the Scout special ship and a one-time Scan: reveals a 2×2 area without firing a shot.
Raiders — the Destroyer special ship and a one-time Volley: two shots at adjacent cells in a single turn.
Each ability can be used once per battle, and only while the special ship remains afloat.
This works against the AI, in local multiplayer on a single device, and online.
And as always, we are working on stability.
