Metal Surface Area is an engineering calculator for quickly calculating the length, weight, and surface area of rolled metal products. Add multiple items to a shared list, view totals for each profile type, and generate a PDF report for work, estimates, or sharing results. The calculator is suitable for determining the surface area required for painting, priming, anti-corrosion treatment, and preparation of steel structures. Available calculations: Channels I-beams Round pipes Square tubes Rectangular tubes Angles Sheet metal For structural steel sections, select the applicable standard, series, and size, then enter either the length or weight. The app automatically calculates the remaining values and determines the surface area. For sheet metal, two input methods are available: By dimensions: width, length, thickness, and number of sheets By weight: total weight and sheet thickness Sheet-metal calculations use a steel density of 7,850 kg/m³. The treatment area is calculated for the two main faces of the sheet; edge surfaces are not included. The results include: Weight of each added item Length of the metal product Surface treatment area Totals for individual profile groups Grand total for all added items Separate calculation of the internal surface area for round pipes Export of a detailed PDF report 2. Add multiple items to a list, receive separate totals for each material type, and generate a PDF report for work, estimating, or sharing results. It helps calculate the area required for painting, impregnation, priming, varnishing, antiseptic treatment, and fire-retardant treatment of wood. The calculator supports two types of wooden elements: Rectangular profile: timber, boards, battens, and other rectangular-section elements Round timber: logs, poles, round posts, and other circular-section elements For rectangular wooden profiles, specify: Element width Element height Length of one piece Number of pieces The calculator automatically determines: Total length of all pieces Lateral surface area End-face area Total treatment area For round timber, specify: Element diameter Length of one piece Number of pieces The results include: Parameters of each added item Total length of profiles and round timber Lateral surface area End-face area Total treatment area Separate totals for rectangular profiles and round timber Grand total for all wooden elements Ability to delete individual items and quickly clear the entire list Export of a detailed PDF report 3.
