Jalkan is a free community app for Mosul. It answers one question before you start your car: Which gas station is open right now, and how many cars are in line?

The information comes from the people themselves—from a driver who was in line just minutes ago—and for each station, it shows when its status was last confirmed. Because two hours old isn't accurate information.

■ What the app displays:
• Status of each station: Open or Closed
• Length of the line (number of cars)
• Type of gasoline available: Regular, Premium, or Super
• Estimated wait time
• Distance from your location, with stations listed from closest to nearest
• Reliability of the information and when it was last confirmed

■ Reporting in two taps:
From the station screen, tap "Open" or "Closed." If it's open, select the number of cars in line. You can also add the type of gasoline or a note.

Any user can confirm another user's report or indicate that it's no longer accurate.

■ Why You Can Trust It
• Reports are only accepted from near the station — someone far away can't change the status of a station they haven't seen.
• Reports are automatically updated, so old information isn't displayed as if it were new.
• The more people who confirm a station's status, the higher the displayed trust rating.
• The app doesn't hide its ignorance: stations that haven't been reported by anyone show "No reports yet" — neither open nor closed.

■ Other Features
• Favorites: Your usual stations on one screen.
• Search by station name or neighborhood.
• Sort by proximity, shortest queue, or last updated.
• Filter: Only open stations, or by type of gasoline.
• "Guide me to the station's location" opens your device's Maps app.

• Works offline: The last saved status is retained, and your report is sent when the network is restored.
• Fully Arabic, with a right-to-left interface.

■ Free and Ad-Free
No ads. No subscriptions. No account or login. No name, phone number, or email address required. Your location is used for two purposes only: to rank stations based on their proximity to you, and to verify that your report originated from a nearby station. Your location is not visible to any other user, and the coordinates are permanently deleted after 24 hours.
