"Yometel" is a phone app that transcribes the voice of the person you're talking to into text, for people who have difficulty hearing the other person's voice on the phone.

[Eligibility for Registration]
People who have difficulty hearing the other person's voice on the phone (no medical certificate required).

[How to Use]
・To use it, people with hearing impairments must register in advance through the downloaded app. Once your identity is verified on the app, a Yometel phone number (050 number) will be issued, and you can start using it immediately. Registration is free.

・Registration is not required for the person you are calling. If they know the Yometel phone number of the person with hearing impairment, they can make calls as usual. At the beginning of the call, a voice guidance will say, "This call will be transcribed."

*Depending on the recipient's settings, some calls may not connect.

[Notes on use]
• The content of the conversation (text) displayed in the app will not be saved.
• This service is only available when both the caller and recipient are in Japan.
• You cannot receive calls from lines that do not allow calling 050 numbers.

① Plan with Monthly Fee
Monthly fee (178.2 yen/month) + Call charges A: 5.5 yen/minute for landline calls, 33 yen/minute for mobile phone calls (pay-per-use)
② Plan without Monthly Fee
Call charges B: 16.5 yen/minute for landline calls, 44 yen/minute for mobile phone calls (pay-per-use)

*Emergency calls and calls to toll-free numbers are free
*Calls to Navi Dial numbers are 33 yen/minute (30 yen/minute excluding tax) regardless of the plan
