About KUU: AI Brain Dump for ADHD
When your head is full, it can be hard to know what belongs in front of you and what can wait.
KUU is a quiet voice-first app for brain dumps, overthinking, scattered ideas and the small worries you would rather not keep carrying.
You can speak what is on your mind. It does not need to be organised.
KUU turns what you said into text and gently separates it four ways:
Now / Later / Park / Let go.
The point is not to do more.
It is to make a little room in your head.
■ When to use it
- Late at night, when your mind will not settle.
- When the same thought keeps going round.
- When task managers have started to feel like hard work.
- When you want to be heard, but do not want to send it to anyone.
- When you just need to get something off your chest.
- When talking out loud helps you understand what you mean.
- When an idea appears before it has a shape.
- When you do not want to forget something, but it is not ready to act on.
- When voice feels easier than typing.
- When your hands are busy: driving, cooking, getting ready or on your commute.
■ The 4 ways
Now — Something that might feel lighter if you look at it soon.
Later — Something to come back to another time.
Park — An idea, feeling or question that does not need an answer yet.
Let go — A worry or thought you might not need to keep hold of.
These are not priorities, scores or colour-coded lists.
They are quiet ways to hold what you said.
■ How KUU is different
- Unlike a notes app, KUU starts with speaking, not writing.
- Unlike a task manager, KUU does not turn every thought into something to do.
- Unlike an AI chat, KUU does not give long advice or add more to think about.
KUU receives what you said and separates it into smaller, easier pieces.
■ What you can do
- Speak naturally, even when your thoughts are mixed up.
- See your words as text.
- See only what needs your attention now.
- Keep later thoughts, parked ideas and things to let go in their own places.
- Revisit what you have said whenever you like.
■ Your voice and your data
- Raw audio is not kept.
- What you said is saved as text so you can look back later.
- Sorting uses AI. Only your words as text are sent, and nothing is kept.
- Your saved text syncs only to your private iCloud.
- Other people and the app developer cannot read it.
■ On your Mac
KUU waits quietly in the menu bar.
You can speak without opening a window, and it carries all the way through to
Now / Later / Park / Let go.
What you said before is never more than a glance away.
KUU is not here to add more thoughts.
It is here for the space between:
“I do not need to sort this out right now”
and
“I do not want to keep holding it in my head.”
— Speaking makes room in your mind.

Here's KUU 2.14.0.
【What's new in 2.14.0】
■ “Now” on your Lock Screen, easier to read
It now sits on a soft pale-blue background, so it's easy to read even on a bright wallpaper. In Settings under “Lock Screen,” you can switch it to Clear, Light, or Dark.
■ Light or Dark, just for KUU
Under “Appearance” in Settings, you can now choose KUU's look separately from your device setting.
■ The water goes down as you speak
While recording, the water level now goes down with how long you've been speaking, not how loud. It stays still while you're quiet.
As always, we're here to help a little space return to your mind.
