About Birmingham Open Studios 2026
Birmingham's Biggest Art Trail. Free entry. Family friendly.
Birmingham Open Studios opens doors to how Birmingham can experience art in the city. BOS’ mission is to make art more accessible to Birmingham’s art lovers and buyers, and to make art lovers and buyers more accessible to artists.
We do this by supporting artists to open up their studios, homes and spaces to visitors, so they can sell their work directly, commission free.
Since our first small event in 2017, BOS has grown to become Birmingham’s largest art trail. 2026 covers our biggest area to date, with 161 artists and groups exhibiting across the city.
This year we proudly welcome talented artists with disabilities and from low-income households, with support from West Midlands Combined Authority
We would like to thank our generous sponsors for their support: Precision Imaging, Birmingham Museums, Kaleidoscope Imaging, and Wex Photo Video
