THE GOAT is a sports career simulator played one card at a time, a life sim where every swipe is a choice. Each card is a moment of your life: swipe left or right to decide. From the youth academy to your last match, every decision writes your story.
ONE CHOICE, REAL CONSEQUENCES
Junk food the night before the final? A huge party with training at 9 a.m.? An agent promising you the contract of a lifetime? Every decision moves your five gauges: Talent, Health, Mind, Social and Fame. Watch your money too: salary, bonuses, sponsors and the temptations of success.
CREATE YOUR PLAYER
Pick a ready-made talent or create your own player: boy or girl, face, first name, country and position. On the pitch, the sport is football (soccer): play as a striker, midfielder, defender or goalkeeper. Your character grows older season after season, and you can run several careers side by side.
MORE SPORTS ON THE WAY
Football (soccer) is the first sport in THE GOAT. Basketball, tennis, rugby and motor racing are coming next.
FROM THE ACADEMY TO THE TOP
Start in a youth academy, fight for your first pro contract, then climb from small clubs to the elite. Deal with the coach, training, injuries, national team call-ups, the press, fans, rivals and family. After each card comes your month in review: your games, your goals and your club's place in the league table.
TRANSFERS AND CONTRACTS
Clubs come knocking. A transfer you accept happens at the next window, mid-season or at the end of the season, with clubs named after cities all over the world. Stay loyal, or chase a bigger stage.
LIVE MATCHES
Some big matches are played live: pick the coach's plan, then swipe at each key moment. A shot, a tackle, a one-on-one with the keeper: your choices change the score.
A CARD GAME AND A COLLECTION
Every card you play for the first time joins your collection, from Common to Legendary through Bronze, Silver and Gold. Open a card to see what would have happened if you had chosen the other side. Super choice swaps the current card for a rarer one, and Go back replays your last card. Your feats earn feat cards, which give you an edge in your next career.
SEASONS, TROPHIES AND RANKINGS
Each season ends with your stats for your position (goals, saves and clean sheets for a goalkeeper) and your trophies: league titles, cups, international titles and individual awards such as top scorer or best goalkeeper. The rankings list real players only: World, Legends, Top scorers, Playmakers and Goalkeepers. They move day by day.
