ⓘ How we measure thisNew ratings a week
–
Google Play's rating count fell over the last 4 weeks: it removed more ratings than came in (spam clean-ups, deleted accounts), so the pace can't be read right now

Lifetime rating
4.5★
recent stars not readable yet: new ratings are a tiny share of the total
Review momentum (0-100) blends how fast the app collects ratings compared with other apps in its category (60%), whether that pace is speeding up (25%) and what recent raters give it (15%; recent stars well below lifetime pull it down). Ratings counts are read daily. A jump usually means a launch, a feature, ads or a new review prompt.

About Alerta Chiapas
Alerta Chiapas is the app from the digital news outlet alertachiapas.com, which has been reporting on Chiapas since 2013. This version is built from the ground up: news, alerts, and services for daily life in the state, all in one app.
NEWS
Up-to-the-minute news from Alerta Chiapas, organized by section, with a search function and offline reading. "Your Summary" reads the news aloud to you.
CUSTOMIZED ALERTS
Choose the topics that interest you or activate "only urgent" alerts. Indicate which municipality and neighborhood you want to receive alerts for (up to four zones) and review all your notifications in the notification center.
EARTHQUAKES
Alerts with the estimated intensity in your municipality. If the earthquake is strong, the alert fills the entire screen. Afterward, the "Are you okay?" survey allows you to notify your family and share the alert as an image.
WEATHER, RAIN, AND AIR
Forecast, hourly rainfall updates, alerts from the National Weather Service, air quality in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, and water and power outage notices.
MY AREA
Risk level for 605 neighborhoods and the 25 flood zones identified by Civil Protection on the map, with alerts for each neighborhood.
CITIZEN REPORTS
Map with reports from residents, direct mailbox to the newsroom with photos and moderated comments.
EMERGENCIES
Emergency phone numbers, family plan, and SOS button.
CALLER IDENTIFICATION
Recognizes extortion and spam numbers reported in Chiapas before you answer.
AND MORE
Alert Chiapas WhatsApp channel, participation levels and points, and home screen widgets.
Reading, voting, and browsing do not require an account. The app doesn't ask for your home, work, or school: only your municipality and, if you wish, your neighborhood. Nothing is shared with third parties.
Alerta Chiapas is produced in Tuxtla Gutiérrez by a team of reporters, photographers, and editors.
