About 注音小讀者:學注音、識字與國語練習
Midterm exam review should begin with the lesson your child is currently learning.
Choose a lesson, practice vocabulary first, then try a 20-question mock exam. Review the results with your child, review mistakes, and identify key areas for future practice.
The "Phonetic Reader" app integrates phonetic learning, character recognition, and Mandarin practice into your child's daily school schedule. It's suitable for families currently learning phonetic learning and preparing for Primary 1 or 2 Mandarin review, providing support from daily practice to exam preparation.
【Start with the lesson the teacher is teaching】 Depending on the school's version (Kang Hsuan, Nan Yi, or Han Lin), select the grade, semester, and lesson to practice related vocabulary and practice writing the characters. You can also choose the start and end lessons to plan the scope of review.
【After completing one practice session, know what to practice next】 After completing the 20-question mock exam, review the results and mistakes, then return to the areas needing improvement. Learning records are kept for each lesson's practice and mock exams, allowing parents to easily review what their child has practiced and help them gradually solidify areas they are still unfamiliar with.
Lesson selection supports grades 1-4; grades 3 and 4 currently offer pre-lesson practice and mock exams. Questions are based on vocabulary and grade level, and are not original textbook questions, school exam papers, or exam predictions.
【Practice vocabulary before exams, understand stories in daily life】 Put the practiced phonetics and Chinese characters into real reading. Children can start with listening, spelling, tone, and description, gradually practicing word selection, sentence arrangement, and reading comprehension; they can also enter the story room, read stories with phonetic annotations, and then find clues in the story through the "Think About It" section.
When they want to read their own materials, they can open a Chinese webpage within the app, or import PDFs and TXT files into the library to add phonetic annotations, adjust the display size, and read at their own pace. PDFs must contain a readable text layer to add phonetic annotations; image-based PDFs can retain their original images for reading.
【Leave a Little Something to Look Forward To in Every Practice Session】 Completing challenges gives you a chance to meet a little monster, invite it home, and spend time with it hatching eggs, feeding it, cleaning it, and even finding stars and playing rock-paper-scissors together. Parents can schedule usage and rest times, allowing for a rhythm of learning and relaxation.
Starting with today's lesson, practice with your child until they are more proficient and understand more.
