Versy Live: Sports Scores Android

Versy Live keeps you on top of American sport without the clutter. Scores update as the game moves, fixtures are laid out by day, and everything is one tap away. No account, no sign-up, no forms.

FOLLOW THE GAME AS IT HAPPENS

Scores refresh on their own while a game is in play. You see the clock, the quarter or inning, the current score, and how the scoring arrived — drive by drive, inning by inning — so you can tell at a glance whether a 24-21 was a comfortable afternoon or a finish that turned in the last minute.

EVERY LEAGUE WORTH FOLLOWING

Versy Live covers professional American football, basketball, baseball and ice hockey, along with college football — well over two hundred teams from the top division down to the smaller programmes that most apps leave out entirely.

BUILT FOR THE WAY A SPORTS NIGHT ACTUALLY GOES

A date strip across the top moves between days without losing your place. Open a day with nothing on and the app takes you straight to the next day that has games, rather than leaving you on an empty screen to work it out yourself.

Games are grouped by what you care about first: live now, starting soon, then finished. Finished games keep their line score so you can read the shape of a result hours later.

YOUR TEAMS, AT THE TOP

Mark the teams you follow and their games come first. Favourites are stored on your phone, not on a server, so there is nothing to create and nothing to log into.

STANDINGS AND TABLES

League tables sit alongside the scores, with wins, losses, points and the figures that matter for each sport. On a match page you also see where both sides sit in the table, so a result has context without going to look for it.

MATCH DETAIL

Open any game for the full picture — the line score period by period, team records, venue, and the win probability where the data supports it. Team colours and crests run through the whole app, so a card reads at a glance before you have read a word of it.

NOTIFICATIONS, IF YOU WANT THEM

Turn on alerts for the matches you care about and leave the app alone. Notifications are entirely optional; refuse them and nothing else changes.

A PLAYER THAT STAYS OUT OF THE WAY

Where a live stream is available, the built-in player handles it: skip ten seconds either way, drag the bar to move through what has already been broadcast, pick your audio track and quality, and carry on watching in a floating window while you use another app. The screen stays awake while you watch — including while the stream is buffering, which is exactly when most players let it go dark.

LIGHT, QUICK, AND IT RESPECTS YOUR PHONE

Versy Live asks for four permissions and no more: internet, network state, notifications, and keeping the screen on while you watch. It does not ask for your location, your camera, your microphone, your contacts or your files, because it does not need them. There is no account, so there is no password to forget and nothing of yours sitting on a server.

Scores and fixtures stay readable
