About Big Font - Enlarge Font Size
Big Font is a font enlarger app that lets you enlarge font and increase font size on the whole phone: large text up to 300%, big font for elderly parents and big text for seniors, in every app they open.
One slider changes the system font size, so text grows everywhere at once - messages, WhatsApp, Facebook, the browser, contacts, menus and settings. Nothing to hunt for in hidden system menus, and the large font stays until you change it again.
WHO IT IS FOR
- Seniors and elderly users who want a large font on Android without asking for help
- Anyone with low vision, presbyopia or tired eyes who needs a huge font to read comfortably
- Sons and daughters setting up a parent's phone: slide the text to 200-300% and hand it over
- People who keep tapping the wrong app because the icons on the screen are too small
HOW IT WORKS
1. Open the app and drag the font size slider from 100% to 300%.
2. Preview the bigger text before anything on the phone changes.
3. Apply it, and the larger font is used across the system.
4. Change the size again later from the font size widget on your home screen or the quick settings tile, without opening the app.
LARGE FONT FOR ANDROID, SYSTEM WIDE
This is a real font size changer, not a text zoom that works inside a single app. Increase font size once and every screen follows: chats, email, calendar, notes, contacts and long web articles. Drag the slider back down at any time and the old text size returns just as quickly. The home screen font size widget is the easiest way for an older parent to adjust text themselves, and the quick settings tile does the same from the notification shade.
LARGE APP ICONS
The Icons tab lists the apps already installed on the phone as a grid of large app icons in four sizes, with a search box and the apps used recently. Big app icons for seniors mean fewer mistaps and less squinting - huge icons, one tap to open, no scrolling through crowded pages. This large icon grid lives inside Big Font, so the icons on your home screen are left exactly as they are.
BIG TEXT NEWS
The built-in reader opens news stories and web pages in big text, the way large print news feels on paper. Older readers get news with big font without pinching and zooming paragraph by paragraph, and the reading size follows the text size you already chose.
EVERYDAY SITUATIONS
- Messages too small to read? Make text bigger once and every chat stays readable.
- Eyes sore after browsing? A huge font on the whole interface is far gentler than squinting.
- New phone for a parent? Install Big Font, set 200-300%, add the widget, and they are independent again.
- Tiny medicine names, account numbers or one-time codes? Large text gets them right the first time.
- Works on Samsung, Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, realme, Motorola and most other Android phones.
SIMPLE ENOUGH FOR NON-TECHNICAL USERS
The whole app is three tabs: text size, icons and reading. No nested menus, no confusing options, and the app's own interface is already set in l
