Aero is a new kind of sky community app that lets you easily share "the sky at this very moment" via video call and video chat.

The moment you look up at the sky and think, "Ah, it's beautiful," that sky will never be the same again. Sunny cities, rainy cities, cities bathed in the colors of sunset. Even at the same time, the sky looks completely different depending on the location. Open Aero and you can peek at the skies of cities all over the country and connect with people in those places via video call. Let's share the "living sky" in real time, something different from weather forecasts that only consist of numbers and predictions.

Connecting with people in distant cities via video call conveys a sense of atmosphere that can't be captured by weather forecast numbers alone. Just asking "What's the sky like where you are right now?" during a video call will make distant cities feel much closer. Connecting with someone experiencing a completely different day, even though you're under the same sky—Aero is a place where you can find such small surprises every day.

▷ Peek at the Sky via Video Call
Choose a city that interests you and have a video call with someone there. If they show you the sky outside their window, the weather far away feels almost personal. Because it's video chat, the "atmosphere" comes before words. Even with someone you've just met, the sky is a common topic, making conversation flow naturally. Enjoy the ease of peeking at the sky together, just like a video call.

▷ Post and Share Photos of the Sky!

Sunrises, cumulonimbus clouds, rainbows after the rain. Post photos of the sky that moved you and share them with everyone. You can get excited with comments and video calls, saying things like, "That sky is great!" Your casual photo might brighten someone's day, somewhere. Arranging your collected photos creates your own personal sky album.

▷ Share Weather News
"We just had a sudden thunderstorm here," "It looks like it's going to be stormy nationwide tomorrow"—post your weather-related topics and exchange information in real time. The current sky conditions are shared like a live chat. It's a place where the sky conditions at this very moment are gathered from all over the country, just like a live chat.

▷ Check the Latest Weather & Local Weather
Not only can you see today's and tomorrow's weather, but you can also check the weather phenomena currently occurring in your prefecture at a glance. You can also catch signs of sudden rain or torrential downpours early, making it your go-to companion before you go out.
