Meet Melodee, the app that lets you sketch and draw music with just a fingertip. Scribble a line, press Play, and your drawing becomes a melody. No instrument, no sheet music, no experience needed.

HOW DOES MELODEE WORK?

Simple. Your screen is a music map:
- Up and down is pitch. The higher your line, the higher the note.
- Left to right is time. The further right it goes, the later it plays.

Draw a wave, a zigzag, a heart, a little fish, or a handful of dots. Every shape has its own sound, and no two drawings ever sound the same.

WHAT IF MY DRAWING IS MESSY?

That's fine. Melodee uses a 32 x 20 grid (32 steps of time, 20 pitches), and every stroke snaps neatly into place on the beat. A quick or shaky doodle still sounds clean and steady.

WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DRAW?

Start with a template. Melodee comes with a library of ready-made drawings: birds, animals, landscapes, people and more. Tap one, press Play, and hear it sing.

Then make it yours. Add lines, draw over it, change the instrument, tweak the tempo or switch the scale.

WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW ANY MUSIC THEORY?

You don't need to. Every note is matched to the scale you choose, so your melody always sounds pleasant and never clashes.
- Scale: Pentatonic (clear and airy), Major (bright and happy), Minor (deep and moody)
- Root note: 12 options to shift the whole piece higher or lower
- Tempo: 40 to 240 BPM, from slow and dreamy to fast and danceable

WHICH SOUNDS CAN I PLAY WITH?

Plenty. Soft Key has a mellow electric-piano tone, Marimba sounds playful and woody, Warm Synth feels cozy and rich, Bells sparkle like chimes, and there are many more to discover.

Each instrument has its own color. Mix colors on one screen to build layers: a melody on top, a warm sound underneath, a few shimmering notes in between. Newer strokes draw over older ones, so you can keep changing things without starting over.

WHAT ELSE CAN MELODEE DO?
