About Limougeotte
In 2020, I was 30 years old. One evening, my friends were tired of going out to the same places. They asked me who went out regularly. I told them I didn't know what was happening that night, but that there must be an app to find out.
BUT THERE WAS NOTHING!!! Just websites that looked like unreadable directories, or events that had already happened. So we walked all over town at 10 p.m. hoping to find something different…
So that's how, without any great entrepreneurial ambition (I'm a teacher by training), I embarked on this project: creating an app that tells people in Limoges and the Haute-Vienne region what's happening near them. The goal was simple: in less than two minutes, to be able to find something interesting to do, or at least something different.
Believe me, creating an app and running a business wasn't easy…
But it was worth it because since then, over 40,000 of you have downloaded the app, and sometimes more than 1,000 of you use it every day, which is incredible!! It's amazing to see that it's helping you.
Today, we share over 700 activities per month on the app. That means EVERYONE finds something to suit their taste in outings: families, athletes, partygoers, music fans, gamers, show lovers… Every month, we get really positive feedback and reviews that help us move forward even more.

In 2026, we released version 2 of the app to help you find even more fun things: you have a search bar to find events that match your tastes, and filters to display only events that fit your criteria (times, dates, locations, types, etc.).
You can even "like" events to add them to a list and easily find them later, so you already have ideas for upcoming weekends and weeks!
We (myself and the Limoges team that's been building this!) are thrilled to see that it's helping you and we're incredibly motivated to help ALL the residents of Haute-Vienne never be bored again and never have to stress about enjoying good times with friends or family.
