ASI is the national federation of reference for the historic motorsport sector. Founded in 1966, it supports, protects and promotes the interests of historic Italian motoring, enhancing its cultural, historical and social importance. It is a non-profit association identified by the State for the certification of historic vehicles as per art. 60 of the Highway Code.
ASI has around 350 affiliated clubs throughout Italy and operates through commissions and working groups specific to each sector, so that the conservation and recovery of any means of transport that is twenty years old can be spread: motor vehicles, motorcycles, mopeds, vehicles military, agricultural and industrial machinery, commercial vehicles, bicycles, boats and airplanes. Means that were active and irreplaceable protagonists in the history of the 20th century, expressing its technical, customs and social evolution.
