About 陸上 スタート音 -STARTER PISTOL-
Give your solo practice a starting signal.
STARTER PISTOL is a track and field training app that lets you use your smartphone as a starting signal.
From individual short-distance training to club and team practice, it offers a comprehensive set of features including sound playback, time and reaction recording, and form video recording and comparison.
■ First, start with the signal
"On your marks → Get ready → Start gun" plays in sequence. Set the sound of the signal and the waiting time, then press the START button to begin your practice.
The interval until the start gun can be selected from fixed or random. Loop playback is also supported.
■ Record and review your practice results
You can choose the items to measure, such as time, reaction, and GPS speed. Reaction measurement detects the movement of the device, and any movement before the start gun is recorded as a false start.
Records are organized with titles, memos, tags, and favorites. You can review your daily practice in a list.
■ Check your starting form with video
Record your starting form in camera mode. You can check your start using markers indicating the signal position and frame-by-frame playback.
You can also compare two videos side-by-side, aligning the starting gun's position. This is useful for comparing with past performances or checking your form with training partners.
■ GPS Records Speed and Distance
You can check maximum speed, average speed, distance, speed graphs, and 10m splits. You can overlay graphs of multiple records to review your run.
■ Share Start and Finish with Two Smartphones
Connect two smartphones with a 6-digit code and measure separately for the start and finish. If you set the finish side to recording mode, you can select the finish position by frame-by-frame playback of the video after the run.
【For these types of training】
・Want to practice starting in sync with the signal alone
・Want to practice repeatedly by changing the interval to the signal
・Want to record and review time and reaction
・Want to film your start form and compare it with past videos
・Want to record training in a school club or track and field club
【About Usage】
All functions are available for free. Advertisements will be displayed within the app. Measurement values vary depending on the device, mounting method, GPS reception, etc., and are intended as a guideline for practice. They are not a substitute for official competition timing equipment.
Two smartphones and an internet connection are required for two-device measurement.
