- 🆕2Secret Password Manager first spotted by AppInsider#23 in Top Paid · Productivity · Netherlands
- 📦2Secret Password Manager version 1.12.1A new look: Dashboard, Items and Watchtower are in a floating tab bar of glass at the bottom of the screen, with a search button beside it. The content runs on under the Dynamic Island.
- Long-press an item or a vault for a menu of options, such as rename and copy password.
- Select several items at once to move them, favorite them or move them to the trash.
- Search shows your favorites first.
- Fold categories, vaults and tags in the menu away.
- Website icons are found faster and far more often.
iPhone Duo: 2Secret now fills the whole screen, open and closed.
AutoFill in 2Secret's own look: the panel for passwords, passkeys and verification codes shows the website it is for, your logins with their website icons, and follows the app's theme.
AI agents elsewhere: an AI agent on another computer (Claude Code in the cloud, a server) can ask for a password or code through your sync server, and you answer on your iPhone while 2Secret is open. The server cannot read the question or the answer. Pair agents in Settings → Agents elsewhere.
Security improvements:
- Your Secret Key is no longer included in iCloud and computer backups, so a backup never holds it next to your encrypted vault.
- AutoFill is stricter on websites where everyone gets a subdomain of their own: a login is only suggested on its own site.
- 2Secret connects to a sync server only over https.
- Safer syncing of shared vaults.
- 2Secret remembers the keys of the people you share vaults with and of your emergency contacts, and warns you when the server reports other keys for them.
- Share links: the server keeps only a hash of what opens a link.… more - 🆕2Secret Password Manager released on the App Store

About 2Secret Password Manager
2Secret keeps your passwords, passkeys, cards, notes, identities and other secrets safe – end-to-end encrypted, open source, and under your control.
SECURITY FIRST
• Everything is encrypted on your device before it is stored or synced (XChaCha20-Poly1305, 256-bit keys).
• Your vault is protected by your master password and a 130-bit Secret Key that never leaves your devices. Even a stolen server database is useless without both.
• Sharing with family or colleagues uses quantum-resistant encryption (X25519 + ML-KEM-768).
• Unlock with Face ID or Touch ID. The master password is still asked every 14 days, so you never forget it.
• Fully open source: anyone can check how it works.
YOUR DATA, YOUR CHOICE
• Sync through the free 2Secret server: nothing to set up, and it never sees your passwords.
• Or run your own 2Secret server (a free Docker container on a Raspberry Pi, NAS or VPS).
• Or keep your vault on this device only – no server at all.
EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE
• Logins, passkeys, credit cards, bank accounts, identities, passports, Wi-Fi, SSH keys, API keys, software licenses, secure notes and more.
• Built-in authenticator for one-time codes (TOTP), also filled in by AutoFill.
• AutoFill passwords and passkeys in Safari and apps.
• Watchtower finds weak, reused and breached passwords and expiring cards.
• Strong password and passphrase generator.
• Shared vaults with viewer, editor and manager roles.
• Share a single item with anyone through an end-to-end encrypted link that expires.
• Emergency access: people you trust can ask for access to your vaults when you can't give it yourself.
• Import from 1Password, Bitwarden, LastPass, KeePass, Chrome, Firefox and more.
• Also on Mac, Windows, Linux, the web and as a browser extension.
