Pay anyone by their @handle, and the app launches on iOS 27.
• Pay by @handle. Send money to a person or a business by their @handle instead of hunting for an account number. We check the recipient's name before anything moves. Crypto too.
• Your own pay page. Your @handle gets a public page at 80eight.io/@yourhandle that anyone can pay you from. You choose whether yours is on, and Settings → Privacy shows what others see.
• PayShap by cellphone number. Pay someone on their phone number, without picking their bank for them.
• The app launches on iOS 27. iPhones on the new iOS could fail to open the app at all. Fixed.
• Find friends from your contacts. Share your address book and see who is already on 80eight. We only read it, never change it.
• Circles connect both ways. Accepting someone connects you both, and a decline can be taken back.
• A way through when an instant deposit fails. We offer a bank transfer with your reference shown first.
• 88 Race. When a race is on: your rank, leaderboards, your squad, invites, and share cards for your position.
• Stacks open on the one you tapped, and swipe between them.
• The help centre and FAQs now come from our knowledge base, so answers stay current.
