About ADHD Task Helper
BUILT FOR PRIVACY · Everything stays on your device. No accounts. No cloud. No tracking.
Most to-do apps were designed for a brain that doesn't exist. They dump every task into one endless list, paint them red when you miss a deadline, and quietly shame you for not finishing. For an ADHD brain, that pattern doesn't just fail — it makes things worse. The wall of overdue red feels like a verdict, and the easiest response is to close the app and walk away.
ADHD Task Helper starts from a different premise: your to-do list is not the enemy, but the way most apps show it is.
Instead of showing everything you haven't done, ADHD Task Helper asks one simple question the moment you open the app: "How much energy do you have right now?" Tap Full, Low, or Drained, and the app surfaces a single task that fits your actual capacity at this moment — not the task list from your most optimistic Monday morning.
ONE TASK. ONE WIN. REPEAT.
The whole app is built around that loop. No multi-select overwhelm. No "today's 47 things" guilt view. Just one task, picked for you, right now. Finish it, and you get a small celebration, a quick streak update, and a fresh pick. Don't finish it? Nothing screams at you. There is no overdue badge anywhere in the app — by design.
WHAT'S INSIDE
• Energy Check-In — A three-way dial at the top of every session: Full, Low, or Drained. The whole task list is filtered to match what you can actually do in this moment. Full energy might unlock "draft the proposal"; Drained energy surfaces "rinse the mug in the sink." Both count.
• Context-Aware Matching — Every task in your box is tagged with the energy it needs, an estimated duration (5 / 15 / 45 / 90 minutes), and an optional location. The app cross-references your current energy, the time on the clock, and where you are right now to pick the one task most likely to actually get done.
• Guilt-Free Completion — Finished tasks vanish with a soft animation and a small confetti pulse. No streaks that punish you for missing a day. No "you broke your record" emails. The achievement wall counts wins quietly, the way you'd want a friend to count them.
• Quick Wins First — When you say "Low" or "Drained," the app biases toward tasks that take five minutes or less. The hardest part of any task is starting, and a five-minute finish is the most reliable way to break paralysis. One small win reliably leads to the next.
• 100% Offline — No account, no email, no cloud sync, no analytics, no tracking pixels. Your tasks live in a local SQLite database on your device. If you uninstall the app, the data goes with it. There is no server to breach, because there is no server.
WHO IT'S FOR
ADHD Task Helper is for adults with diagnosed or self-identified ADHD who have tried every "real" to-do app and bounced off each one. It's for people whose brain lights up at the start of a project and goes dark in the middle. It's for the friend who keeps telling you "I'll do it Tuesday" and means it every time.
