■ Online: take on the strongest AI
• Cloud AI runs KataGo on our servers. Turn off "Play like a human" and you face the Strongest AI at full strength.
• Or pick your opponent's rank: 18k, 15k, 12k, 9k, 6k, 3k, 1k, 1d, 3d, 5d, 7d or 9d. With "Play like a human" on, the AI plays the way a person of that rank would.
• A live win rate shows who is ahead.
■ Offline: on-device AI
• KataGo, an open-source Go AI, runs directly on your phone, so you can play on a plane or on the subway without an internet connection.
• There are three AI models: Fast, Standard and Strong. Fast is built in, and you can download Standard and Strong in Settings.
• You choose how long the AI thinks. More thinking time makes it play stronger.
• The AI resigns once the game is clearly lost.
■ 1:1 with a friend
• Take turns on one phone.

• Board size 9×9, 13×13 or 19×19
• Even game or a handicap of 2 to 9 stones, with your choice of komi
• Korean, Japanese or Chinese rules
• Time limit of 5, 10, 20 or 30 minutes, or no limit

• Ask for a hint to see the move the AI recommends.
• Undo up to 3 times per game. After that, watch a short ad to undo once more. With PRO Membership, undo is unlimited and ad-free.
• Confirm each move with a second tap so a stray touch doesn't place a stone.
• When the game ends, the AI counts the territory and shows the result.
• Games save automatically. Use "New game from here" to branch off at any position.
