- 📦AimCalc - Ballistic Calculator updated to version 1.0.1Built for iPhone Duo. Half-open on the mat, the Solution tab splits at the hinge: elevation and windage fill the standing screen in digits you can read from behind the rifle, with Up, Down, Left, and Right spelled out and arrowed. Every control sits on the flat screen. Open flat, saved targets line up beside the full solution, and Trajectory shows the chart and table side by side. A sun/moon button on the bench flips dark and light.
Apple Watch: light mode, a Settings page (appearance, MIL/MOA, profile and target pickers), and Sync from iPhone, which pulls the phone's current profile, range, wind, and target to the wrist. Easier exit from the watch pickers.
Cartridge library grows from 58 to 83 factory loads, every number from the maker's catalog. Adding a gun opens its editor at once. Solution range card says TAP FOR TARGETS. Light mode panels are a step darker for contrast. Glossary & Tips updated, including a new step on exporting and importing your data.… more - 📈AimCalc - Ballistic Calculator dropped out of every chart we trackLast seen 18 Oct

About AimCalc - Ballistic Calculator
AimCalc turns range, wind, and weather into two numbers you can dial, elevation and windage, computed by a real point-mass ballistic solver, not a lookup table.
One purchase. No subscription, no in-app purchases, no accounts, no ads, and no data collection. Everything solves on your device and works without cell service.
THE SOLUTION
• Elevation and windage in MIL, MOA, or holdover: real inches/cm at the target for handguns and fixed sights
• Dial range with a slider, step buttons, or type it exactly, from 5 yards to 1,500
• Velocity, energy, time of flight, and Mach at the target, with transonic warnings
• Wind set on a clock-face dial, the way shooters actually call it
A REAL ENGINE
• Point-mass solver with G1 and G7 drag models, integrated at 2,000 steps per second
• Full atmosphere: station pressure, temperature, humidity, density altitude
• Spin drift, Coriolis, and true vector inclined-fire corrections
• Zeroing that travels: your zero-day atmosphere is stored with the rifle, so solutions stay honest when you change altitude or weather
MAKE IT YOUR RIFLE
• Cartridge library with 83 factory loads (rifle, handgun, and rimfire), each with the maker's published BC, velocity, and typical twist
• Zeroed with: record the load your scope's zero belongs to, and every other load dials relative to that real zero (one rimfire zero honestly serves 710 to 1470 fps ammo)
• True Velocity: shoot a known distance, enter the miss, and AimCalc solves the muzzle velocity your barrel actually delivers
• Unlimited gun and ammo profiles, with duplicate for load development
• Your data is yours: export and import profiles and the range journal as files, between your own devices, with no cloud in the middle
IN THE FIELD
• Capture Live: one tap fills pressure, temperature, humidity, and wind from Apple Weather; every value stays editable
• Point-at-target incline: put the camera crosshair on the target and capture the shot angle
• Targets: save named firing points at the walkthrough, then engage them with a tap
• D.O.P.E. cards: save the current solution to Photos or AirDrop it to your spotter, stamped with its conditions and time
• Range Journal: one tap logs the session (the solution, conditions, and location) plus a target photo and your notes. A shooter's diary that builds itself
• Light mode and larger text sizes for bright days and tired eyes
ON iPHONE DUO
• Half-open on the shooting mat, the standing screen shows elevation and windage in display-size digits with the direction spelled out and arrowed, readable from behind the rifle. Every control sits on the flat screen under your hand
• The split lands on the hinge the phone reports, so nothing crosses the fold
• Open flat, the Solution tab becomes a stage card: every saved target with its own solution beside the full solution
• Trajectory shows the chart and the table side by side; Ballistics shows guns and loads beside the editor
• Closed, it is the same AimCalc as every iPhone
• Dark or light with one
