Chatting, congratulating someone, offering condolences, making dua, or sharing a reminder — Alif helps you quickly use the phrase you need, whenever you need it.
ABOUT FULL ACCESS
iOS requires Full Access for any third-party keyboard to work — this isn't unique to Alif.
Alif has no regular text input — only ready-made phrase templates, so there's nothing else it could send besides them. We never read, store, or transmit anything you type. Only anonymous statistics are collected — crashes and how often phrases are used — to make the app better.
PLEASE NOTE
Alif is free to use in its basic version, but the full set of features requires an Alif Premium subscription (monthly, yearly, or a one-time Lifetime purchase) — you'll see the price in the app before paying. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings.

SUGGESTIONS
The keyboard suggests what to insert next.
Insert "Assalamu alaikum" — short, medium or full — and alif offers a form of address: brother, sister, brothers, sisters. Then the follow-up: "How are you?", "How are you doing?", or "How are you all doing?" for a group. One tap after another, nothing left to type.
If the greeting goes in straight away, without choosing a length, the forms of address appear after a comma or a space.
Brother, sister, brothers and sisters also follow "Jazaka-Llahu khayran", "Baraka-Llahu feek", "Wa iyyak" and "Wa feeka baraka-Llah" — already matched to the form you picked, so a phrase addressed to a man won't end up next to "sister".
The other phrases have their own forms by gender and number and their own emoji: "Rahimahu-Llah", "Shafaka-Llah", "Tusbihu ala khayr", "Wa anta min ahli-l-khayr". The last three are new.
And after "Alhamdulillah", "Masha Allah", "In sha Allah", "Subhan Allah", "Allahumma barik" and other phrases, just press space to pick an emoji.
This used to mean going back to the regular keyboard. Now the whole message comes together in alif.
SALAWAT
"Said", "commanded", "forbade".
Tap the salawat key, pick a variant, press space — the options appear. After "said" the colon and space are added for you; after "commanded" and "forbade", a space, so you can carry straight on.
COMMA AND EXCLAMATION MARK
Now right in alif — one less reason to switch keyboards.
FIXES
Fixed an issue where transliteration could appear in the system language
instead of the main language selected in alif.
3.1
• Four forms of the salawat
The salawat now comes in four variants: the salawat sign on its own, or a mention of the Prophet alongside it — "Prophet Muhammad", "Muhammad", "Messenger of Allah". They work like the salam forms — press and hold the one you want until the pin appears, and it'll be set as your default, one tap away.
• Smart insert
Paste several phrases into the same text field and you don't have to think about formatting: each one lands on its own line, while "Masha Allah" and "Tabarak Allah" join with a comma, since they're usually written together. Backspace deletes an inserted phrase in one go.
• Optimised for iOS 27
Plus smaller fixes and improvements.
