IT WAS SILENT ON A PHONE KEPT ON SILENT
The app read the news into a muted audio session. The counter moved, the
highlight travelled down the page, and nothing came out — which from the
outside is indistinguishable from a broken app. It plays through the ring
switch now, the way a podcast does.
BANGLA WAS READ IN ENGLISH
On a phone with no Bengali voice installed, the app set the language,
found no voice to apply, kept the English one and handed it Bengali text.
It now treats a language as available only when the phone can actually
show a voice for it.
AND THE VOICE WAS CHOSEN BADLY
Apple ships twenty English voices and twelve of them are jokes. Nothing
stopped one of those reading the news. A downloaded Enhanced or Premium
voice is now preferred, and the app offers once to help you install one —
it is free, and it is the difference between a robot and a person.
ALSO
The back arrow in a newspaper leaves the paper instead of walking back
through its own pages. And after a briefing finishes, the app may ask what
you think of it.… more - 📈All Bangla Newspapers: BD News charting in a new countryUnited Kingdom

EPAPER
A new tab: today's printed edition, opened on the paper's own site, exactly as they print it.
TOP NEWS AND FOLLOWING
The first tab used to be one list that quietly topped itself up with papers you had never followed. It is two now. Top News is everything; Following is only your papers, and says so when it is empty.
YOUR DISTRICT, PROPERLY
It offered the divisions and called them districts. Every district is there now, grouped by its division.
A NEW NAME
ABN is now All Bangla Newspapers, which is what it always was.
ALSO
The privacy policy, terms and takedown pages are text in the app instead of a web page that is blank with no signal. Contact us sends the email itself. The newspaper list refreshes in the background instead of being up to a day old. About All Bangla Newspapers: BD News
Every BD newspaper, one app.
Open All Bangla Newspapers in the morning and the country's press is already waiting — Bangla news and English news together, and the printed edition too if you would rather see the page the way it came off the press.
WHAT THE COUNTRY IS LEADING WITH
The first tab gathers the day from every paper in the app. A story that half the press is running is marked as such, with the mastheads that ran it, so you can read the mood of the morning without opening anything.
ONLY YOUR PAPERS, WHEN YOU WANT THEM
Follow the ones you trust and the Following tab holds them alone. Nothing is slipped in beside them.
THE PRINTED EDITION
ePaper gives you today's paper as a paper. Choose a masthead and that BD newspaper's own ePaper opens, laid out exactly as it was printed this morning.
WHEREVER YOU LIVE
Choose your district, not just your division, and the papers that cover your own town come to you. If nobody publishes there yet, the app reads your division instead and tells you plainly that it has.
TWO LANGUAGES, NO COMPROMISE
Bangla news and English news live side by side here, and so can you: read each paper in its own language, set the app itself to whichever you think in, and have either read aloud. Nothing is behind a payment.
HAVE IT READ TO YOU
Put it on while you cook or drive. The app follows the text with a highlight as it speaks, uses a Bangla voice for Bangla and an English one for English, and changes between them inside a single sentence when a writer does.
QUIET BY DEFAULT
Nothing buzzes until you ask it to. Then you decide which subjects may interrupt you, when the night begins, and how many alerts a day is too many.
FOR THE COMMUTE
Anything you keep is stored with its text, so a tunnel or a village with no bars changes nothing.
GENTLE ON A SLOW CONNECTION
Data Saver holds images back until you ask for one, which matters on a Bangladeshi mobile plan.
NOTHING TO SIGN UP FOR
No account, no password, nothing about you collected to let you read.
WHO WE ARE
We publish nothing. Every headline here belongs to the newspaper that reported it and carries its name back to it. Editors who would rather not appear can write to us from Contact us, or from Copyright & takedown inside the app, and the paper comes out.
