Amnezia VPN: Wi-Fi Map

Find out where your Wi-Fi really slows down. Amnezia VPN: Wi-Fi Map turns a floor plan of your home or office into a speed map: stand somewhere, tap that spot on the plan and run a test. After a few tests the map shows where the connection is fast, where it drops and which room needs help.

MAP YOUR SPACE
• Import a floor plan from Photos or Files (image or PDF), photograph a paper plan, or sketch on a blank grid
• Outline rooms, add floors and set the plan scale
• Label your networks yourself, such as "Home 5 GHz" or "Home 2.4 GHz"

TEST WHERE YOU STAND
• Each test measures download and upload speed, latency, jitter, packet loss and latency under load
• Add your router's address to measure router latency too and tell Wi-Fi delays from internet delays
• The heatmap grows with every test; switch between download, upload, latency and jitter

SEE WHAT TO FIX
• Weak areas are outlined against the thresholds you choose
• Every room gets a score, so the weakest room stands out
• Compare router placements: test, move the router, test again and see both heatmaps side by side with the spots that got better or worse

AI THAT READS YOUR MAP
• Analyze this floor: AI studies your rooms, router spots and test results and writes a short report on weak areas, likely causes and what to try first
• Ask AI: ask follow-up questions about your map, for example where a mesh node would help most
• AI works from a summary of your map and your numbers, never the plan image. It needs at least three tests on a floor, and its answers can be wrong, so check important decisions yourself

GOOD TO KNOW
iOS does not let apps read Wi-Fi signal strength or scan networks, so the map shows the real speed and latency you get at each spot, which is what your apps actually experience. "VPN" is part of the Amnezia brand name; this app has no VPN function.
