Areum: Facial Aesthetics Scan

Meet Areum - data-driven facial analysis.

Areum turns a quick guided 3D face scan into a clear, easy-to-understand report - a measurable, self-referential estimate of your facial features, grounded in a model trained on millions of real human comparisons.

How it works
1. Calibrate the model. Start with a few quick pairwise selections on AI-generated faces. These help tune the scoring system and keep results consistent. (All faces shown are AI-generated and do not represent real people. Your scan is never used to train our model.)
2. Complete a guided 3D face scan. A short, guided 3D facial scan using your device's camera. We use a 3D scan because it produces the most accurate, consistent results.
3. Get your report. Receive a detailed, easy-to-read analysis of your facial features.
4. Track your progress over time. With a subscription, you get one scan per week, so you can see how your results change as you change and as our model improves.

What's in your report
• Overall rating. A self-referential estimate of how your features compare across our dataset, expressed as a percentile and standard-deviation score, based on real human preferences.
• Demographic perception breakdowns. An estimate of how perceptions of your features vary across different demographic groups, based on aggregated voting patterns in our dataset - reflecting that beauty perception differs by culture and context.
• Facial feature analysis. A breakdown of individual facial features and proportions identified during your scan.
• Facial measurements. Objective geometric measurements derived from your 3D scan, such as ratios and proportions between facial landmarks.


What Areum is
Areum provides a self-referential estimate based on a model trained on 7,251,000+ real human votes on AI-generated faces. Attractiveness is subjective and varies by person, culture, and context. Areum's report including your protocol is for informational and self-improvement purposes only.

Privacy
Your 3D scan stays on your device. Your results are only shared if you explicity choose to use Areum’s sharing features.

Credits & access
Areum uses credits for reports and may offer subscriptions or in-app purchases depending on your plan and region. A subscription is required for the full report.
