Atmos: Golden Hour Forecaster

Atmos tells you if golden hour is worth going outside - before you leave.

Most weather apps say "partly cloudy." Atmos tells you whether that cloud is high-altitude cirrus (ideal for projecting golden color) or low stratus (will block the sun entirely). That distinction is the difference between a shot you'll remember and a wasted alarm.

THE SCORE
Every golden hour and blue hour gets a 0-100 quality score built from 7 atmospheric factors: high cloud (cirrus), low cloud blockage, mid-level texture, pressure trend, color vividness, visibility, and precipitation. One number. Four plain-language verdicts: Exceptional, Good, Fair, or Skip It.

FOUR SHOOT WINDOWS PER DAY
Atmos tracks golden hour and blue hour for both morning and evening sessions - four windows every day, five days out. Blue hour (the cobalt transition just before sunrise and after sunset) gets its own dedicated quality summary.

REAL-TIME COUNTDOWN
Updates every 30 seconds. Shows exactly how long until your next window opens - or how many minutes you have left if you're already in it. A pulsing LIVE indicator appears the moment conditions are active.

5-DAY FORECAST
See morning and evening scores for the next five days at a glance. A Best PM badge marks the highest-scoring evening window of the week. Tap any day to expand condition details, fog probability, temperature range, and full factor breakdowns.

PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
Set alerts before each shoot window. Choose how many minutes early, which days of the week, and a minimum quality threshold - so Atmos only notifies you when it's actually worth going outside.

FOG PREDICTION
An early-warning system for morning fog. Checks humidity, wind speed, dew point, and overnight sky clarity to produce a fog probability - and sends an alert the night before if conditions look favorable.
