Auday - All-Day Watch Recorder

Auday 1.0.5 brings your memories into your desktop AI workflow and makes online transcription more reliable. CONNECT AUDAY TO YOUR DESKTOP AI Use Auday Skill with a compatible desktop AI assistant on Mac. Connect your iPhone and Mac on the same Wi-Fi to search and use saved transcripts, Highlights, summaries, reflections and memories, with optional access to retained audio. Transfer is encrypted and local, without an Auday cloud relay. You choose the read-only access scope and keep the iPhone connection page open during transfer. MORE RELIABLE ONLINE TRANSCRIPTION Improved handling of long recordings, large audio uploads and interrupted cloud-transcription tasks. Better task recovery helps preserve progress and reduces repeated processing. MORE CONSISTENT TIMING AND MODEL SWITCHING Fixed timestamp offsets in some provider responses so transcript segments line up more reliably with playback. Saved model changes apply between transcription tasks, and prepared audio is reused where possible to avoid unnecessary preparation. Recording, on-device transcription, local search and playback remain available without configuring an AI service. Optional online services use your own provider and credentials. Thank you for helping us improve Auday.

Auday 1.0.3 brings a more complete, reliable way to record on Apple Watch and revisit your day on iPhone. 1.0.3 QUICK FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS Fixed Neural Engine acceleration compatibility for on-device transcription on some iPhone models, reduced repeated work while idle, and improved transcription progress and interface responsiveness. Added optional automatic transcription in Efficient mode and improved switch visibility in dark mode. FOUR-LANGUAGE INTERFACE Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean now cover onboarding, everyday screens, settings, help, Apple Watch and widgets. One Language setting controls the interface, future AI output and voice-enrollment passages. MORE ACCURATE, ON-DEVICE TRANSCRIPTION Choose Efficient or the new Accurate mode. Accurate offers 100 languages and variants, with its model included in the app and running on iPhone. Word timing, quiet-speech handling and recovery from difficult or repetitive passages are improved. Accurate prioritizes quality and may use more time and battery. RECOGNIZE YOUR OWN VOICE Optional enrollment uses three 15-second readings to identify your speech in new transcripts. Your voice profile stays on-device. Owner information now follows the original text into Highlights, Summary, Daily Reflection and Chat, with less repetitive context for long conversations. Original words and citation positions remain intact. CLEARER AUDIO, LESS WASTED SPACE Improved mono capture, lightweight noise reduction, quiet-interval storage and controlled loudness enhancement make playback and export more consistent. Filtered quiet intervals keep their place on the timeline. Recognition continues to use the original received audio; historical recordings are not automatically reprocessed. PROGRESS YOU CAN FOLLOW Receipt, preparation, transcription and voice recognition show clearer stages and progress. Pause and resume apply to the selected day, with completed work reused after interruptions. Supported systems and devices can show background task cards and Dynamic Island progress, subject to iOS scheduling. MORE RELIABLE WATCH RECORDING AND SYNC Improved background transfer recovery and confirmation of safe receipt on iPhone. A Recently active connection state helps explain temporary reachability changes. The Watch makes the one-second hold to stop clearer and gives stronger alerts for unexpected recording interruptions, subject to notification permissions. DAILY REFLECTION THAT RECOVERS Clearer Hours, Summary, Reflection and Memories stages, with Nudge when a prolonged wait is eligible for recovery. Long input can use smaller scopes or hourly summaries, and completed stages remain reusable. Historical review preparation and date handling are improved. Changing the daily cutoff now preserves all completed reviews; only today's and future unfinished reviews adopt the new time. CHAT WITH MORE CONTEXT Chat can use your confirmed voice, optional body/activity and location context, and the original words together. Improved date and speaker handling, location recall, concise answers and a bounded factual check help keep replies grounded. Citations continue to lead back to the original records. BATCH EXPORT AND EVERYDAY IMPROVEMENTS Select dates and hours to export retained audio as M4A, transcripts as TXT and AI content as Markdown in a ZIP. Keyword search, long-transcript browsing and sharing are smoother. AI errors explain configuration, account, model and network problems more clearly, with improved retry and response handling across providers. Thank you for your feedback. It helps make Auday better, one day at a time.
