About AxeSentry
AxeSentry keeps an eye on your Bitaxe and NerdAxe / NerdQAxe miners so you don't have to. It talks to your devices directly over your home Wi-Fi using the AxeOS API — no account, no cloud, no data leaves your network.
WATCH YOUR WHOLE SWARM
• Live hashrate, temperature, power, best share and uptime for every miner
• Swarm totals and a health timeline showing when devices went offline, ran hot or slowed down
• List or grid view, with sorting by hashrate, temperature, best diff or name
• A dead or stuck miner is pinned to the top in red so you spot it instantly
ALERTS THAT REACH YOU
• High temperature, low hashrate, new best share, block found and miners-offline alerts
• Set global thresholds or override them per device
• Mute for 4, 8 or 12 hours when you need quiet
• A full in-app alert history logs everything — even alerts that fired while muted
AUTO-RECOVERY
• Automatically reboot a miner that drops below its hashrate limit or rises above its temperature limit — up to three tries, a minute apart
• Optionally undervolt and/or downclock an overheating miner on the third reboot to cool it down (with safe floors)
• Every part of this is opt-in and configurable
SOLO MINING, MADE FUN
• Block-odds card estimates how often your swarm would find a block solo, using live BTC or BCH difficulty
• A full-screen celebration with sound the moment one of your miners solves a block
CONTROL EVERY MINER
• Change pool, frequency, voltage and fan, or reboot and identify — per device
• Or reboot all, set fans on all, and identify all from one Controls screen
BUILT FOR YOUR DEVICES
• Universal app for iPhone and iPad
• iCloud sync keeps your miner list the same on every device
• Home-screen widget and a Live Activity with devices online, on the Lock Screen and (optionally) the Dynamic Island
• Best-effort background monitoring so alerts can reach you even when the app is closed
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Works only on your local network — your iPhone or iPad must be on the same Wi-Fi as your miners
• No sign-up, no analytics, no tracking. Nothing is collected.
Compatible with Bitaxe and NerdAxe / NerdQAxe miners running the AxeOS API. AxeSentry is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the makers of Bitaxe, NerdAxe or AxeOS.

Latest updates
1.1.1
• The Best Share tile now shows which miner found it.
• Your miners' last known hashrate, best share, power and status are kept when you leave your miners' Wi-Fi or reopen the app away from home, with a "Last seen" time on each miner.
• Block odds: switching between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash now updates right away, and the Block odds settings have moved to the Controls tab.
• Mining on CKPool, OCEAN or 2Miners? A new link shows that pool's stats in our companion app, Pool Monitor.
• New Primary / Fallback pool switch (beta) in Controls: every miner moves to that pool, miners already there are left alone, each switch is checked five minutes later and resent if needed, and your miners stay there after a reboot.
• Pool switching and pool changes now work on miners running the latest firmware, and the pool list is no longer reordered when you switch.
1.1
A quieter phone and a tidier Bitaxe swarm.
SWARM HEALTH AT A GLANCE
• The dashboard graph is now a health timeline: it shows when devices went offline, ran hot or dropped below their hashrate floor, and how many.
• A summary underneath says what's wrong right now — tap to see which devices.
• Devices that haven't answered yet after you open the app show as "checking" instead of offline.
• Each device's History shows a health strip and how much of the time it stayed healthy.
A BETTER LIVE ACTIVITY
• Shows how many devices are online (for example 7/9) and flags offline ones, on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.
• Turns itself off when you leave your miners' Wi-Fi, and shows "Paused" instead of old numbers when the app isn't updating.
• Prefer it on the Lock Screen only? Turn off the Dynamic Island in Settings.
NAME YOUR DEVICES
• Rename any device from its detail screen. Your name is used in every alert.
MORE DEVICES
• Miners whose AxeOS-compatible firmware uses the newer nested status API are now read correctly — hashrate, power, temperatures, fan, block hits and both pools — with reboot, pool switching and frequency/voltage changes.
OFFLINE ALERTS YOU CAN TRUST
• AxeSentry now knows which Wi-Fi your Bitaxes are on. Step out of the house and your phone stays quiet instead of reporting the whole swarm missing.
• One missed check no longer means offline. Choose in Settings how many checks in a row must fail before you're alerted.
• Your Bitaxes are polled in smaller groups, so a busy home network doesn't cause timeouts that look like outages.
• While a device is being re-checked, the dashboard says so instead of marking it offline.
ONE FORM FOR EVERY BITAXE
• From the Controls tab, change the primary pool, fallback pool and wallet on all your Bitaxes in one go.
• Current settings are filled in for you; leave a field blank to keep what each device already has.
• Worker names stay per device, so your pool stats keep lining up.
• Nothing restarts until you confirm.
SELF-HEALING REBOOTS
• Per device, reboot after a number of hours of runtime or at a set time of day. Missed one while the app was closed? It runs once at the next check-in, not once per missed day.
• Or reboot when hashrate stays under a floor for as long as you choose.
• Give up after a few tries or keep going until it recovers, with a notification each time.
• Off until you turn it on.
ALSO
• Hashrate limits accept GH/s, TH/s or PH/s.
• A glitching device can no longer inflate your swarm hashrate — impossible readings from the firmware are ignored.
