BabyBackup turns two devices you already own into a baby monitor. Put one with your baby, keep the other with you, and listen. There is no account to create, no subscription, and no internet needed.

HEAR YOUR BABY
Live sound from the baby's room, even with your screen off or your phone locked. You can also hold a button to talk to your baby through the baby's device.

CRY ALERT
BabyBackup tells you when your baby cries. An alarm sounds until you acknowledge it.

IT TELLS YOU WHEN IT STOPS
A monitor that fails quietly is worse than none. If the connection drops, the microphone stops, the sound stops reaching you, or the baby's device runs low on battery, BabyBackup tells you, and it reconnects by itself when it can.

VIDEO WHEN YOU WANT IT
Switch to Watch to see your baby, over your home Wi-Fi or directly between the two devices when there is none (a smaller picture). Flip between the front and back camera, and take a sharp photo to keep. In a dim room, Night view brightens the picture by itself. In total darkness, a small nightlight helps, and BabyBackup tells you when the room is too dark to see. Video never gets in the way of the sound.

NEED A HAND?
Quietly ask another listener to come in with one tap, without waking the baby. They get a ding and a notification, and tap "On my way" when they are coming.

IN THE ROOM
Walking in to check on your baby? One tap on Mute stops the sound on your phone so there is no echo, and alerts stay on. Settling your baby? Hold Pause to mute the sound for 20 minutes. Alerts still stay on.

BUILT FOR PRIVACY
Sound and video go directly between your own devices, encrypted with a key only your paired devices hold. They never pass through our servers. We don't record, store or listen to anything. No account, no ads, no analytics.

SIMPLE TO SET UP
Choose which device is with the baby, scan one code on the other, give each device a name, and you're done. You only do it once. You always see who is listening and whether each device is on home Wi-Fi or connected directly. A partner, a grandparent or a sitter can listen too, with an invitation link. Up to four devices can listen at once.

TAKE IT ANYWHERE
BabyBackup doesn't need Wi-Fi, cell service or the internet. Your two devices connect directly to each other, so it works while traveling, camping, at a cabin, on a boat or an RV, and when the power goes out at home. Video also works with no Wi-Fi, at a smaller size. Keep the devices reasonably close.

IMPORTANT
BabyBackup is a convenience tool for when you need a spare monitor. It is not a medical or safety device and does not replace being with your child. It does not monitor breathing or health. Crying detection can miss a cry or alert when there is none. Keep both devices charged and the app open, with the volume up, and keep checking on your child in person.
