BirdingPal: Owl, Parrot, Finch

BirdingPal is a photo journal and life list built only for birds — for people who keep them and people who go looking for them.

(Formerly Bird Days. Same app, same data, new name.)

If you keep pet birds or go birdwatching, you've probably tried tracking your sightings in a notes app, a spreadsheet, or a generic pet tracker.

None of them work well. Notes apps become a mess after a dozen entries. Spreadsheets can't show your photos. Generic pet apps want you to log feeding schedules for dogs and cats — but you need to record species, habitat, GPS coordinates, and conservation status. And none of them can turn your sighting history into something beautiful enough to share.

YOUR FLOCK, ORGANIZED

Every bird gets a detailed profile: species, sex, acquisition date, location, habitat, conservation status, and custom group. Whether you're tracking 3 pet budgies or 200 field sightings across multiple regions, everything stays organized and searchable.

This isn't a generic pet app with "bird" as a category. It's designed around how birders actually think about their collections and observations.

PHOTO TIMELINE

Every photo builds a chronological visual story — from your first sighting to seasonal changes, molting stages, or breeding milestones. Support for Live Photos captures the moment with motion. Batch import from your photo library to fill in history. Set per-bird photo reminders so you never go too long without updating a record.

For bird keepers, this timeline becomes a growth diary. For birdwatchers, it's a visual life list with proof.

SHARE BEAUTIFULLY

Create stunning photo collages with 30+ layouts, customizable borders, and drag-to-reorder. Or generate longshot cards — tall vertical images that scroll through a bird's full profile, stats, and sighting log — perfect for Instagram stories or birding community posts.

These aren't basic image exports. They're designed to make fellow birders stop scrolling.

AVIARY MAP

Design visual maps of your aviaries, birdhouses, or enclosures. Place markers for each bird, take snapshots over time, and compare how your setup evolves. A feature built for keepers who care about their birds' living space.

NATIVE iOS EXPERIENCE

Built as a true native iOS app — not a web wrapper. Smooth scrolling, haptic feedback, Dark Mode, and iCloud sync across all your devices. Full backup and CSV export for your records.
