About Bistre,
Bistre turns a portrait and a few lines into a letter card you can hold on screen.
COMPOSE ON REAL STATIONERY
Pick a paper from the atelier, write your note, and place an illustrated portrait inset—center or any corner. Camera and photo library are both supported so you can shoot now or reuse a favorite shot.
NEST, TUNE, GENERATE
Crop the face, soften the edge with a gentle gradient, then generate the portrait style that sits on the paper. Spend Nibs per illustration; unfinished drafts stay on your desk until you continue.
SEAL AND KEEP
Add wax seals, fonts and décor packs from Atelier. Share or export the finished letter card as an image (not text-only), or browse only your own letters in Album—no public feed.
Your letters, photos and voice notes are securely protected and encrypted.
Bistre is a personal stationery tool. Portrait results are AI-illustrated styles, not identity verification.
