- 📦Blink Shell, Build & Code updated to version 18.7.2We apologize as this version has run into some unexpected issues and could not be released as planned. We have made some changes to the Paywall flow. If you run into any issues, please let us know.
Support for iPhone Duo (2303)
- Choose between Fill (default), Cover and Fit. Blink always tries to maximize space, even adjusting for asymmetric setups.
- Software keyboard adjustments. SmartKeys mimic the system layout for all the Duo positions.
Hterm rendering improvements - special thanks to Mitch Malone! (2286)
- Wide characters editing: Editing text next to Chinese, Japanese or Korean characters or emoji in specific situations no longer scrambles the line.
- Emoji are now fit in the grid to your font.
- Narrow symbols: Symbols with no text version in your font now fit their space instead of overlapping the text next to them.
- Combined emojis made of several parts, like colored emojis, flags, etc…, now show as a single emoji at the correct width, so the text around them in apps lines up.
Other terminal improvements:
- Hover (mouse mode 1003) (2296). Terminal apps like htop and editors now respond when you hover the pointer over them.
- Terminal redraw on dismissed views (2294 2293). The terminal will lock size when out of view so the software keyboard doesn’t reset the size and lines on shell are preserved.
