About BogoCam - Flip & Dual Camera
BogoCam does everything the dual-camera apps do, and the thing most of them don't: flip between the front and back cameras in the middle of a recording, in one continuous take, with a smooth cinematic 3D flip spun right into the video.
FLIP WHILE RECORDING
Tap flip mid-recording and the camera swings around like a card turning over, front to back or back to front, without ever stopping the clip. The 3D flip is baked right into the saved video, and the audio never breaks. No stopping, no second clip to stitch together.
DUAL CAMERA (PICTURE IN PICTURE)
Want both at once instead? Record the front and back cameras at the same time, with the second camera in a floating inset. Drag it anywhere, flick it into a corner, or pinch to resize it. Tap to flip which camera is full-screen. Perfect for reactions and travel vlogs.
A COMPLETE CAMERA
- Photo and Video modes
- 4K or 1080p at 24, 30, 60, or 120 fps
- 4:3, 16:9, and 1:1 framing, portrait or landscape
- Pinch to zoom, quick lens buttons, and a rotary zoom dial
- Flash and torch, self-timer, rule-of-thirds grid
- Tap to focus and set exposure
- Built-in viewer: swipe through your library, swipe up for photo info
- Captures carry camera info and, optionally, location, just like the built-in Camera
PAY ONCE. PRIVATE. NO CATCH.
A one-time purchase. No ads, no tracking, and no subscriptions ever. Your photos, videos, and location never leave your device.
Get BogoCam and switch cameras without cutting the take.

Latest updates
1.3
Dual camera now starts on by default, switching modes is instant, your music keeps playing, and photos now carry the same details as the built-in Camera.
Dual camera:
- Opens straight into dual camera, and remembers whether you left it on or off
- Turning dual camera on or off is around three times faster
- Switching between Photo and Video in dual camera is now instant
- Your zoom stays where you left it when you switch between Photo and Video
- 60 fps works in dual camera again
- Tap to focus and the exposure slider now work in dual camera, on whichever camera is full screen
- The flash now works as a torch when recording video in dual camera
- Fixed a white haze across the small camera window in low light and at night
- Switching now fades between modes instead of flashing black
Your music keeps playing:
- Opening BogoCam no longer pauses music or podcasts playing from other apps, including in your car
- Your music keeps playing while you record, just like the built-in Camera
Photos:
- A new shutter animation when you take a photo, like the built-in Camera
- Photos taken with one camera are now saved as HEIF, the same format the built-in Camera uses, with higher-quality processing
- Photo details in the Photos app now show the lens (Main, Ultra Wide, Telephoto or Front Camera), focal length, aperture, ISO, shutter speed and exposure, like photos from the built-in Camera
Fixes:
- Fixed a freeze when turning dual camera on right after changing the frame rate
- Fixed a black preview when turning dual camera off
- Fixed a flicker just after the camera switched over
- Fixed the frame rate list offering rates the current lens could not actually record
- Fixed a saved 60 fps setting being reset to 30 every time the app opened
- The preview is smoother at 24 and 30 fps
- Saved videos no longer carry the old project name in their file details
Plus general stability work around zoom and lens switching.
1.2
Zoom got a serious upgrade, on both cameras and in dual-camera mode.
Ultra-wide 0.5x, fixed:
- The 0.5x button now appears whenever the ultra-wide lens is actually usable, and never when it is not. Previously it could show up and do nothing.
- Switching to 4K no longer quietly costs you the 0.5x lens.
- The lens buttons stay on screen while you use the zoom dial, instead of disappearing for a couple of seconds.
A wider selfie:
- On iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone Air, the front camera now uses the wide Center Stage sensor, so you can zoom out to fit more people into a selfie.
Dual camera:
- Zoom each camera out to its ultra-wide, independently, in both the floating inset and the 50/50 split view.
- The inset zoom now runs all the way to 24x, matching the main camera.
Frame rate:
- 120 fps is now available where the hardware supports it, and the frame rate list only offers rates your device can really record.
Plus stability fixes around zoom and lens switching.
