• New: My lists – put books into lists you name yourself, like “Autumn reads” or “Holiday 2027”; a book can be in several. In the book detail and when adding a book, with a filter under “Sort & Filter” and in search.
• New: “My lists” view – in library and wishlist, a third view shows each list as a carousel. Assign several books at once; an opened list has its own search and sorting.
• New: Share lists – share any of your lists or your whole wishlist as a story image with the covers or as text with every book and its ISBN. In the wishlist with release dates and a star for most-wanted books.
• New: Reading session on the Lock Screen – a running session appears as a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Pause and resume right there; your Apple Watch follows along.
• New: Change edition – picked the wrong edition? Swap it for another edition of the same volume under “More actions” in the book detail. Reading status, rating, notes and reading sessions stay.
• New: On Apple Watch, you can discard a reading session you started by mistake – it disappears from watch and iPhone and doesn’t count in your statistics.
• Improved: The import of CSV files from other book apps recognises another format, takes over the storage place as location and reads more date formats.
• Faster: The PDF export takes covers from the thumbnails stored on your device – much faster for large libraries, even offline.

• Improved import of CSV files from other book apps – the import now brings over each book’s rating, reading status, reading dates, shelves or tags, review and notes, series and volume, format and loan instead of just the ISBN. Anything BookSafe doesn’t know goes into a separate block in the note.
• New: Group series – a switch under Settings → Appearance shows every series with two or more books as a single entry in your library, in list and grid. One tap opens the series with all its volumes.
• New: A location for your own books – record in the book detail or when adding where a printed book lives: a place and, optionally, a shelf. Library search finds books by their location, too.
• New: “Author (Last Name)” sorting – “Sebastian Fitzek” sits under F, “Ursula K. Le Guin” under L. Also available in the wishlist.
• Improved: Imports now include books without an ISBN, and ISBNs that lost their leading zeros in Excel are repaired.
• Fixed: Some texts in the import dialog appeared in German in the English version.
• Many further refinements.
