About CallSieve: Range Call Blocker
Spam callers rarely use the same number twice, but their numbers often start the same way. CallSieve blocks the whole range with one rule.
TYPE A PATTERN
Use x for any single digit. +1 213 555 xxxx covers 10,000 numbers. The x can go anywhere: at the end, in the middle or at the start.
PASTE, THEN TAP
Copy a number from Recents and paste it. Tap any digit to turn it into x, and tap again to bring the digit back. No syntax to learn.
SEE WHAT A RULE COVERS
Every rule shows how many numbers it covers and the range, like 213 555 0000 – 213 555 9999. Allow rules win, so the building office inside a blocked range still gets through.
THREE ACTIONS
• Block: the call doesn't ring.
• Label only: the phone rings and shows your label.
• Allow: CallSieve never blocks it.
FILTER TEXTS TOO
Turn on text message filtering, and texts from numbers in your block rules go to Spam in Messages, without a notification. Texts from numbers you allow stay in your conversations.
ANY COUNTRY CODE
Rules work with every country code. Numbers are read the way they're written where you live, including a leading 0 or 1.

The home screen shows how many numbers are being blocked, with a progress bar while iPhone loads your list in the background.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. Rules are stored only on your iPhone. CallSieve doesn't read your contacts or call history, and there are no servers. Text filtering happens on your iPhone and only checks the sender's number.
GOOD TO KNOW
• Turn CallSieve on once in Settings > Apps > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification. iOS requires you to do this yourself.
• Numbers in your contacts are never blocked. On iOS 26 and later, numbers you've called aren't blocked either; delete those calls from Recents to block them.
• iPhone doesn't tell apps which calls it blocked, so there's no block history.
• A rule can have up to 6 x, and all rules together can cover up to 1,800,000 numbers.
• Text filtering checks SMS and MMS from senders not in your contacts. iMessage isn't filtered, and texts sent from a name, like a bank, have no number to match.
• Only one app can filter texts at a time.
• Calls with no caller ID can't be matched by any app. Use Screen Unknown Callers in iOS for those.
