Nerves make you speak faster, and nobody in the audience is going to tell you. WordPace listens to your speaking pace while you present and shows a large, unmissable warning the moment you run away with it.

MEASURES WHAT ACTUALLY MATTERS
WordPace reports your articulation rate: words per minute of real speaking time. Pauses are left out, because otherwise every breath would tilt the numbers in your favour. The reading covers the last twenty seconds of speech, so it shows how you are speaking now, not how you started.

NOBODY ELSE SEES IT
On iPhone the warning fills the screen, and you can add a haptic tap and a sound, so it reaches you without looking. On Mac a red banner covers your own display. It ignores clicks, so you carry on advancing your slides, and with an extended display or a shared window your audience never sees it. An optional small floating readout shows the exact number if you want it.

DOESN'T FLICKER, DOESN'T NAG
The warning clears only once you are comfortably back under your limit, and disappears on its own when you stop speaking. Each language keeps its own limit, because words per minute cannot be compared between languages.

PRESENT IN YOUR LANGUAGE
WordPace recognizes English, French and many other languages and regional variants. The warning appears in the language you are speaking, whatever language your device is set to.

LEARN FROM EVERY TALK
After each session you see your average pace, your peak, how often you were warned, and your pace over time.

EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
Speech recognition runs entirely on your device. No audio is recorded. No transcript is stored: the measurement only ever sees when each word starts and ends, never the words themselves. WordPace collects no data, and its only permission is the microphone.

Requires iOS 26 or macOS 26. The first time you use a language, your device downloads Apple's on-device speech model for it.
