Castoro helps furniture workshops, production teams and independent makers plan sheet cutting. Choose straight cuts for a saw or contour nesting for CNC preparation.

Saw cutting
- rectangular parts entered by length, width and quantity
- grain direction, kerf width and sheet edge margins

Sizes and edge banding
- enter finished sizes or saw blank sizes
- calculate blank sizes from edge banding thickness and premilling

- inspect rectangular parts in 3D with banding, grain and dimensions

Contour nesting
- upload DXF and DWG drawings, including files packed in ZIP
- recognise part outlines and holes
- arrange shaped and rectangular parts on sheets
- set spacing, allowed rotations and search time
- generate reusable offcuts and use them in another calculation
- download layouts, parts and offcuts in DXF/DWG

Prepare layouts for routing, laser, plasma and waterjet cutting. Machine toolpaths and control programs are prepared separately in CAM software.

Data entry
- import rectangular part lists from Excel, CSV and the clipboard
- automatic column matching with manual correction
- data checks during import

Shop-floor documents
- PDF reports with layouts, part lists and material totals
- download files or share a result link
- for saw cutting: labels with dimensions, material, banding and grain
