ChipIn Shot Tracker downloads
Worldwide, per day, and installs to date. The band is open; the exact number is free with an account.
How this is calculated
Apple publishes no download counts. App Store downloads come from chart positions and daily rating growth per country, calibrated on Google Play install counts; lifetime installs from ratings worldwide × installs per rating. Confidence is the chance the real number is within half to double ours.
Active users
All platforms, worldwide. Free with an account.
Stickiness (DAU / MAU)
how many monthly users open it on a given day
How this is calculated
Monthly users come from lifetime installs across every store, fitted on monthly active user figures companies publish; daily users = monthly × the typical daily/monthly ratio for the category. Confidence is the chance the real number is within half to double ours.

Review momentum
61/100
faster than 68% of Sports apps
Review momentum (0-100) blends how fast the app collects ratings compared with other apps in its category (60%), whether that pace is speeding up (25%) and what recent raters give it (15%; recent stars well below lifetime pull it down). Ratings counts are read daily. A jump usually means a launch, a feature, ads or a new review prompt.
About ChipIn Shot Tracker
Turn your iPhone into a golf launch monitor. Set it on a tripod, swing, and see your pro-level data on every shot, at the range or into a net at home.
GolfTrak is now ChipIn Shot Tracker. Same tracking, same account, same shot history. New name.
EVERY SWING, MEASURED
• Carry and total distance
• Ball speed and club speed
• Launch angle and launch direction
• Spin rate and smash factor
No sensors and no extra hardware. Just your iPhone's camera.
KNOW EVERY CLUB IN YOUR BAG
Every shot is saved club by club. See your average, long and short for each club, where your misses go, and how your numbers change over time. Is your 7-iron really your 7-iron? Now you'll know.
PRACTICE WHERE YOU PRACTICE
Driving range, hitting net, enclosure, indoors or outdoors. Choose your setup and the app guides you through it.
SET UP IN MINUTES
Follow our easy guide and you're hitting in under 3 minutes on average. For the best results, use a small tripod that goes as low as 6 inches. A stack of books works in a pinch.
YOUR NUMBERS ON YOUR WRIST
With Apple Watch, each shot's numbers appear on your wrist in real time, so you can stay in your rhythm.
PLAY CHIPIN GAMES Make practice fun. Hit real shots with your own club and ball, and watch them play out in ChipIn games on a second screen: your iPad, laptop or monitor, or stream to your TV. Your iPhone tracks every shot from behind you while the game plays at chipin.golf. • Red Rock Challenge: Perfect your chip game in a desert canyon • Paradise Pin: Get closest to the pin on an island green • Bullseye Blast: Six shots. Six targets. Can you hit them all? Games are free to play. No simulator required.
