Turn everyday receipts into organised expense records for your accountant. Claim Kira is an iPhone receipt scanner for Malaysian SMEs, sole proprietors and freelancers, with English, Bahasa Melayu and Simplified Chinese in the app.
SCAN AND CHECK
Capture paper receipts or import receipt images and screenshots. On-device OCR suggests merchant names, dates, amounts and invoice numbers. Enlarge the receipt preview and use the OCR selector beside a field to pick recognised text without retyping it. Always check the final total and other details against the original receipt.
ORGANISE YOUR BUSINESS RECORDS
Review category suggestions, suspected duplicates and items needing attention. Browse spending by month, category and claim type. Payment methods such as TNG and DuitNow do not determine whether an expense is deductible.
EXPORT FOR YOUR ACCOUNTANT
Share receipt images or a Proof Pack containing an Excel summary, PDF details and original images. Your accountant receives exported files, not access to a shared live ledger.
QUICK ACCESS FROM YOUR HOME SCREEN
Add a scanning widget, or use the monthly spending widget to see your recorded expenses and open the camera.
PRIVATE, ON-DEVICE STORAGE
No app account is required. Receipt images and OCR details stay on your iPhone unless you choose to back up, export or share them. Scanning and OCR work on-device; downloads and Apple purchases need an internet connection.

Keep a restorable backup outside the app. Deleting the app removes its local files. Restore Purchases restores paid access, not receipt data.

Organise and verify your receipts with confidence:
- Create named folders for trips, jobs, companies and other groups.
- Tap + on a receipt to save it to a folder, then manage and export grouped receipts from Receipts.
- Removing a receipt from a folder or deleting a folder keeps the original receipt and its details.
- Review a receipt and tap the tick to mark it as verified and clear its review flag.
- Filter exports and spending insights by folder.
- Improved receipt date ordering and learning from your OCR field corrections.
- A more compact Capture screen.
