CleanYourTV Unofficial helps you tidy up Android TV and Google TV from your iPhone or iPad — no computer or root required. Disable unwanted preinstalled apps, install a clean home screen without advertising rows, and keep your everyday favorites within reach.

WHAT THE APP DOES

• Finds your TV on your Wi-Fi network and guides you through connecting.
• Lets you save a backup of TV settings and the app list on your iPhone or iPad before making changes.
• Disables unwanted preinstalled apps and advertising components using tested lists for more than 250 TV and streaming-device models. Cleanup disables apps rather than uninstalling them.
• Helps you keep the features your family uses: select streaming services, the voice assistant, Chromecast and other features you want to keep.
• Installs the fast CleanYourTV home screen without advertising rows. Checks that the new launcher starts before disabling the previous one.
• Lets you preview themes before applying them and customize the greeting, favorite-app dock, layout and clock screensaver.
• Turns your iPhone or iPad into a remote for navigation, volume, playback and TV screenshots.
• Shows your TV’s apps, opens them on the TV and lets you re-enable disabled apps.
• Helps you undo cleanup through Restore, using saved records of the changes.

CLEAR AT EVERY STEP

You choose what to keep and what to disable. Built-in checks protect core Android components and check apps that the home screen, Wi-Fi and HDMI inputs depend on. The activity log helps you see what was done.

WHAT YOU NEED

• A TV or streaming device running Android TV / Google TV. Samsung Tizen and LG webOS are not supported.
• An iPhone or iPad on the same local network as your TV.
• ADB debugging enabled on the TV and permission to connect. The app guides you to the relevant settings; their names vary by model and Android version.
• Android 8.0 or later to install the CleanYourTV home screen. Downloading catalogs and building apps on the server require internet access.

Feature availability depends on your TV’s model and firmware.
