About Clued Up: Board Game Solver
Throw away your notepads and pencils - Clued Up will make you a Clue champion.
Clued Up transforms your messy notes into a clear table, showing you at a glance for each card: who has it, who does not have it, who has suggested it, who has seen it and how likely it is to be the card in the envelope. All you need to do is enter the details of each turn.
If you do not want to give your opponents a chance, Clued Up goes beyond being a smart scorecard. Enable automatic deductions and the app will cross-reference every turn in the game to locate cards for you, going far beyond what a human could achieve.
Clued Up works with almost any edition of Clue, including:
Alfred Hitchcock
Alien vs Predator
The Big Bang Theory
Doctor Who
Downton Abbey
Dungeons & Dragons
Family Guy
Firefly
Five Nights at Freddy's
Game of Thrones
Golden Girls
Harry Potter
The Haunted Mansion
Juicy Couture
The Legend of Zelda
The Office
Penny Dreadful
Rick and Morty: Back in Blackout
Scooby-Doo!
Seinfeld
Sherlock
The Simpsons
Star Wars
Supernatural
The Twilight Zone
The Walking Dead
If you do not see your edition listed, use the card set editing feature to create any edition you like and store it in the cloud for others to use.
Instructions
Game Setup:
Enter your name, followed by the names of your opponents in the order they are sitting, starting with the player on your left.
Choose whether you want the game to locate cards automatically. If you enable this feature, the app will cross-reference all players' responses as you record the turns and deduce which cards must have been shown on each turn. Be sure your opponents do not mind you winning if you leave this switch on - or do not tell them.
Once you have entered the names of all the players, you can select which edition of the game you are playing. If you do not see your edition listed, you can create a new one. Any edition you create will be stored in the cloud for you and other players to use.
After selecting your card set, enter all the cards you have been dealt. Enter every card you are holding, then press Finish.
Playing the Game:
On the main screen, you will see a list of all the cards. Eliminated cards are shown in blue, cards held by you in green and solved cards in red. Under each card name, you will see additional information, such as who does or does not hold the card, who has suggested it and who has seen it. You will also see the likelihood of each card being the final card, shown as a percentage with a progress bar beneath it.
To eliminate cards, make suggestions and enter the suggestions made by your opponents. The app will automatically eliminate a card if it is shown to you. If you have enabled automatic deductions, when entering another player's suggestion, the app will also eliminate a card if it is shown and it is known that the other two cards in the suggestion are elsewhere or are not held by that player.
