Coco Feed: Burn

FeedBurn is an offline decision tool for farmers who fatten broilers, turkeys, and ducks and need to know one thing above all: how long is it still worth feeding this batch? It follows the weight your birds put on and the money you put in, day by day, and finds the day where one more day of feed costs more than the extra weight is worth.

Start a batch, then run a quick daily log: weigh a few control birds, note the feed you fed, record any losses, and add the odd extra cost. FeedBurn works out the average weight, the daily gain, the running feed conversion ratio, and today's cost per kilo of live weight, and it keeps a clear picture of where your break-even day sits.

What you can do:
- Follow each batch with a proper day-by-day log and a running feed conversion ratio.
- See your break-even day on a chart where the cost of one more day meets the value of one more day of gain.
- Move feed price, live-weight price, and mortality with sliders and watch the optimal day and the margin per bird react at once.
- Compare selling now, selling on the optimal day, or feeding on to a target weight, each priced out in full.
- Keep buyers, sales, part payments, and debts in one place, with charts for revenue against cost, price per kilo over the season, and your top buyers.
- Plan feed buying: how many bags and how much money to the end of the cycle, and the day your feed runs out.
- Count your flock from a photo, processed entirely on your device, with a manual tap-to-count mode as a backup.
- Close batches into a history of records, ranks, and badges, and export everything to CSV.
