Court Time Basketball Subs App

Calling the Court Time Crew! This is our biggest update yet, and loads of it came straight from coaches like you. Just been handed the clipboard so the school team can play? Nothing new to learn. Pick your five, hit start, and Court Time keeps the minutes fair, same as always, only smoother. Want more control? Positions, Protect and the rotation settings are there whenever you need them. Court Time works both ways: set and forget, or fine-tune every rotation. PLAYER POSITIONS (Pro, optional) Tag your guards, forwards and centres, then choose how many of each must always be on court: Off, 1+ or 2+. The balance engine works them into your rotation with like-for-like swaps, and tells you before tip-off if your tags can't carry a setting without costing a kid their minutes. If a position runs short mid-game, Court Time asks you first: keep them on, or keep it fair? You get a heads-up on the cost before tip-off, and afterwards the debrief explains exactly what happened, with a line you can give parents. Works with squads of 8 or more, and stays off until you switch it on. FOUL TROUBLE? PROTECT Early fouls? Sit your player for a few minutes with one tap. Court Time suggests who comes on and adjusts their fair share, so the numbers stay honest. SMOOTHER ROTATIONS On Auto subs, big squads now rotate in smaller waves (no more five-for-five line changes), and it goes easy on subs late in each period. SCORES, POINTS & NOTES After the game, add the final score, each player's points and private coach notes. Points land on the parent receipt, with a heads-up if they don't add up to the team total. YOUR SEASON (Pro) Tap the blue clipboard on your roster for your record, your average gap, and every game with scores, points and notes. A SHARPER DEBRIEF Plain English, a different read every week, and the bigger the gap, the more it explains why. BETTER RECEIPTS Parents now get the final score, how many kids finished close to their fair share, and why if anyone didn't. ONE SIMPLE LOOK Game structure, positions and overtime now all use the same simple pill, so every setting works the same way. FOR THE SE AND MINI CREW To Ben, Matthew and everyone else rocking an SE or mini, thanks for the suggestions! This one's for you: sub suggestions now always show both names (long ones stack neatly instead of getting cut off), the bench scrolls properly with big squads and large text, the AI panel always slides fully into view, and at every break the big clock tucks away so more of your court and bench fit on screen. We love our small-phone coaches, and we're working hard to make Court Time just as easy on your phone as it is on the big ones. NEW IN 1.14.1: OVERTIME, SORTED Fair time is now measured on the quarters or halves only. Overtime minutes still show on the receipt and the summary, labelled OT, but they don't count for or against anyone's fair share, so a fair game stays fair when it goes to extra time. Halves games that go to overtime keep their H1 and H2 labels too. OVER TO YOU Everything here has been tested hard, but you're the ones on the floor every weekend. Spot something odd? Got an idea? Email [email protected]. Every message gets read, and this update is proof it matters. And if Court Time has saved you from a sideline grilling, a quick rating helps more coaches find us. Thanks for being part of the Crew. See you courtside!

COURT TIME JUST GOT EVEN BETTER. If you’re seeing a few Court Time-ish names floating around lately, don’t worry. There’s only one original Court Time. And we’re not standing still. This update is about making the biggest, brightest and smartest junior basketball subbing app even better on game day. A BIGGER BRAIN FOR BETTER SUBBING We’ve gone deep under the hood and rebuilt the Court Time engine around one thing: Actually understanding what is happening in your game. Court Time now analyses your game as it unfolds not just how long each player has been on court, but the chaos that happens around it THE POST-GAME DEBRIEF The final buzzer no longer means Court Time switches off. Your AI Assistant now reviews the game and produces a **contextual post-game debrief**, looking at rotation balance, game flow, foul trouble, disruptions and unusual circumstances. It’s the closest thing to having your own assistant coach sitting on the bench. SMARTER LOAD MANAGEMENT 12 players? 13 players? Everyone needs a run? Someone has just picked up their fourth foul while another kid has mysteriously disappeared to find their drink bottle? Court Time has got you. Our new predictive rotation engine has been stress-tested against oversized, chaotic junior rosters to prevent bench logjams and keep rotations moving smoothly. Whether you use **Auto-Assist** or run your game manually, Court Time is now smarter about what needs to happen next. THE "TWO MASON" PROBLEM IS SOLVED Because apparently one Mason wasn't enough. Court Time now automatically detects duplicate first names and adds the player's last initial to their player tile. Mason W. Mason T. No more accidentally subbing the wrong Mason when the coach is yelling, the scoreboard is running and everyone is standing up at once. BOX SCORE THAT ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE A BOX SCORE We’ve completely redesigned the post-game summary and export. Player data is now presented cleanly and alphabetically, making it much easier to read, share and drop straight into the parents' group chat. Because after surviving the game, the last thing you need is a spreadsheet that looks like it was designed by an accountant. AND THERE'S A LOT MORE UNDER THE HOOD We’ve removed a huge amount of internal testing code and optimised the engine for real-world game day use. The result? Faster. Cleaner. Smarter. More reliable. And yes... Still Court Time. The original. The one built specifically for junior basketball parents and coaches who just want to know who should be on the court next. There may be a few generic alternatives around now. You can try stealing our name That's fine. Competition keeps us moving. And this update is proof that Court Time isn't going anywhere. Bigger. Brighter. Smarter. Better. Thanks for using the ORIGINAL Court Time and good luck on the sideline this weekend.
