Cyclemate: Bike Directions

Cyclemate is the safest way to bike in London.

What we do:

• Safe turn-by-turn cycling directions: Our custom model for each city takes you through safe streets, heavily prioritizes London's cycleway network, and ensures you never have to cross dangerous roads. Audio and Apple Watch directions available.

• Night Mode: After sunset biking directions are adjusted to bias towards streets that are well-lit, while still prioritising TfL cycleways and quiet roads.

• Lime, Forest parking: Find a route that goes to the nearest compliant parking for your Lime or Forest bike.

• Smart navigation that gets smarter: We pull from 8+ data sources daily so you avoid street markets, construction and more. Every user report gets processed to make the map smarter.

• Apple Health integration: Record your daily commute and import into other cycling apps.

• Custom routes: Create your own custom routes or follow routes created by others.

• Use your bike, Santander, or another rental: Our navigation allows you to switch between navigating using your own bike or via an available rental bike. We show you directions the whole way.

• Safe bike map of London: See a map of all TfL cycleways, collision-reports, street lamps and user reports.
