About Daily Tracker for Weight Loss
Track your food and exercise the simple way — and reach your weight goals
with no account, no subscription, and no website to join. Your data stays
private on your device.
Logging what you eat and how much you move is one of the most effective
habits for losing weight and keeping it off. This app makes it fast and
keeps you motivated with a simple daily budget.
HOW IT WORKS
You get a daily food budget plus a weekly bonus. Every food has a cost that's
subtracted from your daily budget; go over and it comes out of your weekly
bonus. Exercise boosts your budget back up. Simple, flexible, and it works the
way you already think about your plan.
NEW
• Apple Intelligence Insights — a few plain-language observations connecting
your food, activity, and weight each week, generated privately on your
device. (Requires a compatible device running iOS/iPadOS 26.)
• A redesigned home dashboard on iPhone and iPad — Budget, Bonus, and Boost
rings with one-tap logging for food, activity, and water.
GREAT FOR
People following a commercial weight-loss or points-based plan, or anyone who
just wants to count calories. Includes a searchable database of [5,000+] foods
from the USDA National Nutrient Database — plus popular chain restaurants and
brand-name items — and [240+] exercises with budget-boosting values.
FEATURES
• No account or sign-up — your data stays on your device
• Track your way: calories, points, points+, protein, fat, or carbs
• Day/Week tracking by hour or by meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks)
• Scan a barcode to add packaged foods fast
• Quick-entry screen when you don't want to look anything up
• Water tracking with your own daily goal
• Weigh-in tracking with trend lines, goal projection, and CSV export
• Built-in tools to help you set a healthy budget
• Favorites, plus add your own foods and exercises
• Multi-user support
• Charts, graphs, and day/week nutrition & exercise reports
• Apple Health (HealthKit) integration
• Helpful blog posts and recipes
• Share progress with friends on Facebook

Latest updates
3.14
Apple Intelligence Insights on iOS 27
• Insights work again on iOS 27. TrackIt now works out the patterns itself — how your weight changed in the weeks below versus above your usual calories, workouts, and water — and Apple Intelligence puts them into words. The numbers are exact either way.
• If Apple Intelligence is unavailable, the same patterns are shown as computed from your log.
• Patterns need at least four weeks with weigh-ins and logged entries.
Apple Health
• Food entries logged by time period now carry that period's time (Breakfast 7:00, Lunch, Dinner…) instead of 12:00 AM, so they line up correctly in Apple Health.
• Fixed nutrition being double-counted in Health after editing an entry, and deleting one entry removing the whole day's nutrition.
• Running Sync History again now replaces what TrackIt wrote earlier instead of duplicating it.
• Entries logged ahead of time (logging the whole day in the morning) reach Health right away and move to their period's time once it has passed.
• New: "Rebuild Health Nutrition" under HealthKit settings rewrites your whole food log to Health, correcting past days.
• New: "Assign times to time-period entries" under Data Maintenance moves your existing 12:00 AM entries to their period's time. Run it once, then Rebuild Health Nutrition.
Improvements
• Tapping into a number field highlights the value so you can type right over it.
• Long food and activity names now wrap on the detail screens.
• Fixed a possible crash on the "Upgrading database" screen when updating from an older version.
