About Davly - WebDAV File Server
Turn your phone or tablet into a local network drive. No cables, no cloud — mount your phone's files on Mac, Windows, or Linux and read and write them as if they were a local disk.
KEY FEATURES
• One-tap WebDAV server: your phone becomes a network drive instantly
• Connect directly from macOS Finder, Windows Explorer, or Linux file managers
• Choose any shared folder — the app's Documents or an external folder
• Optional username and password protection to keep your files private
• Custom port so it never conflicts with other services
• Automatically detects your LAN IP with one-tap copy of the full address
• Live log showing connections and transfers in real time
• Built-in "How to Connect" guide with step-by-step instructions per platform
HOW TO CONNECT
• macOS: press ⌘K in Finder (Go → Connect to Server) and enter the address shown in the app
• Windows: type the address in Explorer's address bar, or mount it as a network drive using RaiDrive
• Linux: enter a dav:// address in your file manager, or use davfs2 / cadaver from the terminal
The app includes the full per-platform walkthrough, so you can get connected by following along.
USE CASES
• Move photos, videos, and documents between Mac and your phone at full LAN speed
• Use your phone as a wireless USB drive that several computers can access at once
• Share files with teammates without uploading anything to a third-party cloud
• Send files to devices AirDrop cannot reach, such as Windows and Linux machines
PRIVACY AND SECURITY
• Files travel only across your own local network — never through an external server
• No data collection, no account required, no third-party analytics
• Optional authentication keeps unauthorized devices out of your shared folders
• Uses standard HTTP and is intended for use on a trusted local network
Free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
